| The culture part of this tour was very informative and entertaining as presented by our enthusiastic guide. While the tasting samples were varied and appealing , the number of delicacies/venues visited was not generous. I took the Greenwich Village Food Tasting and Cultural Tour last year and thought it a better value. However, on this tour my guest, who is from from New Zealand, loved every minute! | ||||||

| Absolutely LOVED our tour guide - Curt. What a GREAT guy and really went out of his way to make us all interact and enjoy ourselves. Got to see stuff that not everyone does and he really is good at making people feel catered to. This is a great way to see this part of NYC. Would definitely not have gotten as much if we did Chelsea Market on our own. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you Curt!!! | ||||||

| We found this tour to be informative, filling ( no dinner required that night!), funny and entertaining. Many different shops/sites were visited and it was a great way to see Greenwich VIllage. We're looking forward to our next tour! | ||||||

| Our leader was Barri. She was great in her presentation of the food and history of the venders. She was also most interesting in her historical talks regarding the area of Greenwich village. | ||||||

| I like the fact that i was able to learn about the area while experiencing it. It is unlike most other tours in NYC, so the change of pace was welcome. We learned a lot of fun and interesting tudbits of knowledge and history. | ||||||

| I had done something similar in New Orleans (my next favorite city after my hometown of San Francisco) so was intrigued by a similar event in New York. I doubted that it would measure up but Ed Caravallo was one of the most interesting people I have ever met. He was genuine, passionate and incredibly INTERESTING. Going back to my hotel and showing pictures and sharing what I learned, my friends were amazed at what I experienced. Second only to Gypsy as my best memory of my NYC holiday. I was pleasantly surprised by the foreign tourists and the similarities between NYC and SF (except, of course, NYC is HUGE) and I would love to visit the West Village again!!! | ||||||

| Best way to know the area and its culinary delights. We did the Village and SoHo tour last year, which we preferred as it had a bit more about the history of the village and the food was more ethnic but we loved this one too. We would definitely do another one when we are back in NYC and I have recommended it to 3 other friends who are visiting in November. | ||||||

| Our guide was fantastic. Funny, informative and hospitable. I felt as if a friend was welcoming me to the neighborhood. With the exception of Aphrodisia, every stop was a gem. We returned to each of the stops throughout our vacation. We couldn't get enough of the foods we tried, especially the pizza! I will recommend the tour and the businesses to others. I would like to say that you should eliminate Aphrodisia from your stops. It didn't add any value to the experience and the store owner was not friendly. She appeared put out by our group and did not even offer a greeting. My friends and I felt uncomfortable in this store. | ||||||

| Our tour guide, Cindy, was funny and knowledgeable of the area and we learned much about the food, history, politics, economics and society of both Greenwich Village and NYC. While the tour covered a very small area (the info shared said we would cover 3 miles and we probably didn't even cover a half mile) it was very entertaining and enlightening. We returned to the area during the week to dine at restaurants that were recommended and I'm not sure they are some of the best in the city. Perhaps they are truly listed in the tour based soley on paid advertising and not because this is the best of what Greenwich Village has to offer?? The food provided on the tour was tasty and more than satisfied our lunchtime cravings although we did stop at an outside cafe for a glass of wine upon completing the tour. Murray's Cheese Shop, Amy's Breads and Rocco's Pastries are just amazing and delights for the senses. Wish the shopowners took more of a role in these tours and participated to some extent. | ||||||

| The Greenwich Village tour was wonderful. We were led by tour guide Cindy, who , besides being really knowledgable about the area, was vastly entertaining and could do stand-up!!! The tour was a great blend of food tastings, history and coverage of the area. I loved the fact that the food tastings were of the real eateries where locals would go to eat, but we were also informed about dining options as well. I got a sense of the neighborhood and totally enjoyed it. I would recommend it completely, and look forward to doing the other tours. | ||||||

| I'm from NJ and go into the city about 5-6 times a year, sometimes for myself just to see a show and other times with friends who are from out of state. I've been looking for something different to do for awhile now, and found this tour to be interesting... I've been to the village on several ocassions, so I wasnt sure if I would truly enjoy it... But I was like a walking tour and food, why not? I was so amazed about all I didnt know about this part of town that I enjoyed myself so much. The different stores we went into and the food we sampled was just unbelievable. Our group was 13 people and I can say we all had a blast. I have more family coming into town this weekend and will be booking another walking tour for us to enjoy as well. Whether you are from NY/NJ/CT or from out of town you will enjoy this tour tremendously. | ||||||

| Enjoyed this tour very much, went beyond my expectations. Barrie was knowledgeable about the area. I especially appreciated the literary links as a retired college professor of English. One minor detail - she was confused as to the orientation not knowing where east/west/north/south were located. The food samples were very plentiful. I would have liked some gelato after all the pizza. Whoever wrote the booklet did an excellent job. I plan to return following the guide. Have already recommended this tour to others. | ||||||

| The variety and quality of food was generally great. Only disappointment was the final tasting of the kebab. There is much better food around than that eg. ice cream. cheesecake. Good combination of history, architecture, and even local knowledge of TV sets and who has lived in the area, with food and more food. Husband and I both found it thoroughly enjoyable with that one reserve. | ||||||
