We enjoyed our culinary tour of Greenwich Village/Soho. The food samples were amazing and plenty. The smoked mozzarella was to die for. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us opportunity to ask questions. I would definitely book another tour with this company.

This was a 2nd tour for me but I returned with my husband and two close friends who I knew would totally enjoy this tour. They loved it!! The food tasting is superb and the background info by our tour guide (Cindy) was hugely entertaining. I really can't say enough good things about this tour and especially our guide, Cindy.

Greenwich Village is a tasty place!

We always suspected that Greenwich Village would offer a feast for the eyes and stomach. Now we know that it is true. My son and I truly enjoyed our stroll through the past and present day village. It seemed at first that the portions were going to be a bit scimpy but after the 8th or 9th sample we were wondering whether we would be able to last until dessert, but holy cannoli, it was worth waiting for! We will definitely return to the village and recommend the tour to other visitors. A special thanks to Barri for making our tour so much fun!

Overall, we enjoyed the tour. My mother and I travelled from Bucks County, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia via the train. We thought the guide (Curt(sp)) was sensational; he was enthusiastic, animated, knowledgeable and seemed to know the owners and their commitment to their products. He provided a history of the market and its evolution. It was really interesting. We learned about the neighborhood and the food. We learned why there are greenhouse windows in the market and how not all baby carrots are baby carrots. And, why we shouldn't order the special - I always did?!?. He knew everyone's name, where they were from so as to make the information targeted for each person. The tour moves quickly so if you want to linger this is not for you. It's an overview, so you can go back and get what you want ... probably with a coupon.

We had a small group of nine lead by an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide,Susan. We arrived very hungry with little local knowdge. We left feeling very informed about the local history, cuisine and with very full tummies! We got insider tips of places to eat and returned the next evening for a great dinner as had been highlighted along the way. A very well spent afternoon and well worth the price.

Our tour guide was Bert, and he was so much fun. I appreciated his sincere love of food and descriptions at each food stop because they were detailed without being snooty. He REALLY likes his job and is very good at it! The food provided was high quality and way more food than I would ever eat for lunch. I wish I had not eaten breakfast! Excellent value for $50. Would definitely do this again and recommend to family visiting from out of town and to locals as well!

Greenwich Village

It was our first time at Greenwich Village and I thought the town was great. It has so many great places to eat and Marie did a great job explaining the culture and the description of the food. Though I was " lactose" and felt that I was able to eat "some" food I felt that a lot of the food choices had cheese ( cheese slices, cheesecake, riceball ( with lots of ricatto). My husband did eat my portion and enjoyed it very much. I thought it was nice to accomodate people that are vegetarians but it would've been nice if we would been able to pick our ' choices" ahead of time. Also, I liked that Marie took to us to many locations that were shaded ( it was in the 90's). The places that Marie recommended I went the next day and enjoyed the food very much!! I went back to Pizza Roma ( pizza with no cheese) and I got olive oil from Olive and Co. If I were to go back to New York I would stay in Greenwich village and felt it was the town I would enjoy the most. I would recommend the food and culture tour in Greenwich Village. Thank you!

I have done this type of Food tour twice before. Both other ones were the Greenwich Village Food Tour. This one was my least favorite of the three. I felt the food stops was rushed and too much time spent on history. When it came to stopping for food our tour guide kept telling us we had to hurry. When we were able to get a drink (alcoholic) she told us to drink up as we did not have much time left. So at that point we did not really enjoy the food or drink since we had to inhale it. The tour guides i had before were better and friendlier. Overall just ok. I would do it again however since I know I enjoyed in the past.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone. Our guide Bert, was excellent and we learned alot about the food, history and culture of chinatown. The restaurants are clean and very accommodating. We are planning another tour in October.

Father's Day present - adult kids and parents. It was a terrific way to spend time together. Curt was a fabulous tour guide - informative, dramatic, entertaining, fast paced but not rushing us.

First, our tour guide was excellent --she was very informative, humorous but could've made it more interactive amongst group members. We enjoyed the historical facts and the eateries selected. The tastings were excellent choices and good portions. Not too much idle time spent between stops which made tour time perfect. Would've enjoyed meeting some of the chefs,
