| I hope I spelled Barrie's name correctly. She was an outstanding tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about Greenwich Village, and about its history. She seemed to have a great love of the Village and of NY in general. She kept us going at a good pace, and politely answered all of our questions. The stops along the way were fabulous....great samplings of food, and a nice variety of places. I really enjoyed the whole visit, and would recommend it highly. | ||||||

| I loved this tour. It was so informative and of course the food was amazing. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and I feel like I know more about the neighborhood than most local New Yorkers. Next time I am back to the city I will definitely do another one and eat at the reccommended resturaunts. | ||||||

| Our group of nine consisted of three former New Yorkers, two Brits and visitors from Kentucky, Michigan and Massachusetts. All LOVED this tour. Our tour day was rainy and cool but nothing dampened our experience. We learned about the Village and ate our way from pizza to cookies and from a subtle cauliflower appetizer to faux BBQ'd pork at a Japanese vegetarian restaurant (and yes, you read that correctly). We learned about early Village history and it's modern development; about Washington Irving and Edna St. Vincent Millay; about Cherry Lane Theatre and basement jazz on Cornelia St. Dave, our guide was great. It is hard to please all of the people all of the time but Dave did this for more than three hours of fabulous fare and fun - even the jaded former New Yorkers were dazzled by what had been in their backyard, missed till now. | ||||||

| Dave was a terrific tour guide - enthusiastic, spoke clearly and audibly, seemed to know a lot of trivia and information about the area and the restaurants. I highly recommend him. I really enjoy Japanese food but the Japanese pseudo pork and mini bento box was very poor. I was very disappoonted in that. The rice ball at the start of the tour was not served hot enough, either. I attended a tour in late August and the food was much better. We did not do either the Japanese place or the rice ball. We had a chocolate breadstick and a thick slice of pizza instead. These were both better options. | ||||||

| Our tour guide was fantastic as was all the food samplings!!!!! It was much better than we expected and highly suggest it to anyone considering the walking food walking tour. | ||||||

| If you live someplace else, but love NY, you must do this tour! Perfect balance of tastings, trivia and history. Cindy was the guide for my tour and she was entertaining and hospitable; made me feel right at home in the Village. I wish every destination I traveled to, offered a tour like this. I plan to do the other tours over time, during my visits to NY. Bring your appetite, it's a movable feast! | ||||||

| We had the best time on our food tour with Sephrah. She was perfect! She showed us some great places. We ate some yummy food. Loved the bento box from Soy and Sake. The plum sake was delicious! We could'nt have had a better tour guide. We wanted to bring her home with us. Nothing could have been better! | ||||||

| The group was the right size and our tour guide kept things moving nicely. She had great stories about the food, people and lore of the neighborhood. It was the right balance. Having recently eaten breakfast my friend and I opted to share portions at many of the places because it was really plenty of food. | ||||||

| We (husband and I) had a fantatic time on this tour. Our guide, Marie, was friendly, knowledgeable and very well-organized. We tasted many different goodies--from pizza to Asian food to home-baked cookies--and came away satisfied. A sit-down "tasting" was planned for mid-way on the 3-hour tour, so there was a chance to rest and use the potty. My only advice is to do this tour early in your NYC trip as it will give you lots of ideas for places to which you'd like to return for a full meal. | ||||||

| Everytime I come to New York I have to do one of these tours because they are always one of the highlights of the trip! I was here with my mum this time and we did the China town tour and the Greenwich village tour. The Chinatown tour was definitley worth it - our tour guide Raheem was fantastic and all the food was amazing! Its such a good way to explore an area that you might not make the most of on your own and a great way to get to know some great restaurants you can go back to at your leisure! If I come back again with my husband I would probably book this again as I thoroughly enjoyed it! I think my mum had a little crush on Raheem as well!! | ||||||

| Some friends and I went on this tour while we were visiting in New York--it was one of our favorite experiences of the trip. Greenwich Village is so beautiful, it has a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere, and some of the best restaurants! I can't wait to visit New York again so that I can re-visit those restaurants and have more of that yummy food! It is definately worth the time and money you'll spend for this tour. | ||||||

| A friend of mine (a food fiend) recommended this tour. I have to agree with him, it was an wonderful tour. Barri gave us a tour of old and new Greenwich. I would never have seen these areas, and thoroughly enjoyed in. I am planning to go again the next time I am in town. | ||||||
