Foods of New York Tours

Our tour guide was very knowlegable and made the best of a difficult situation - leading our tour through Chelsea Market on a busy Saturday in December! The food was excellent. Slight negative was the tour ran over by 1/2 hour and we had to dash to make our train. Tour guide should have shortened the lingering at some locations and suggested that other members of the group check out the stores after the tour. I have taken one other tour by this company so would highly recommend them!

We thoroughly enjoyed our ethnic foods tour. Our guide was well-informed about the area and provided interesting tidbits of information. The food was delicious. We look forward to doing another of your tours in the near future.

This was a lovely way to experience Greenwich Village. The tour was especially unique because it provided the history and the actual food experience. We went back to the Village the next day to experience a restaurant that didn't have a tasting on the tour but, the guide said so many good (and interesting ) things that we had to check it out for ourselves. We weren't disappointed in that either. Our only suggestion for change to the tour is to change the pizza offering. It really isn't that great and it would be fun to have a tasting from the pizzaria where people were standing in line out the door. Thank you for organizing such a great opportunity.

We enjoyed Chelsea market tour but would like to have walked the streets and seen more of the hood...

This was EASILY the best part of my visit to NYC and I would highly recommend it to everyone. Its a brilliant way to learn about the history of the area, try some wonderful food that wouldn't be available to you otherwise and meet some lovely people. There were certain things I wanted to do whilst in NYC - try a slice of real NYC pizza and a Cannoli and wander -round Greenwich Village - this ticked both boxes!! I am easily intimidated - and New York is a scary place for someone like me; I wouldn't know what to do to get what I wanted from a busy place like Fiaccos so would probably not even dare go in, on this tour this was taken care of for me (so I got to try a delicious rice ball and not miss out!) I learnt so much when on this tour as well about the history and background to Greenwich as getting some lovely grub, I really felt like I gained a lot from it. It was a lovely way to spend 3 hours. I CANNOT recommend this enough. Do it!!!

Loved all the shops and places we went to. The food was also great. And all the information was so interesting. The time went by so fast.

We had Eric as our tour guide. He was excellent. He had a great attitude and was so knowledgeable of the city and Chelsea Markets. If I go again I will be sure to request him. The tour itself was very interesting. I was very pleased.

We had Eric as our tour guide. He absolutely loved what he does. He was so enthusiastic and fun to be with. All the tastings were great. I would love to do this or another tour on my next visit to NYC. I am recomending this to all my friends who plan on visiting the city. FUN.

Food is great, our guide (Curt) was absolutely fabulous, and the places we visited were varied & interesting.

The Greenwich Village tour was an excellent way to enjoy many local points of interest. The food stops offered a good variety and certainly made the three hours very enjoyable. Our tour guide, Heather, was amazing--great knowledge of the area and informative in other areas of the city.

This is my 3rd food tour and all have been a lot of fun. Our tour guide, Barri, was fun and informative.

Our guide, Diana was a great source of information and the assortment of tastings was very diverse. The three of us thouroughly enjoyed our 3 hour tour.
