| Curt´s foodtasting-Tour in Greenwich Village was very funny and at the same time very informative. We were able to gain information about many restaurants and places we wouldn´t have seen without this tour - we´re going to recommend them to all friends visiting NYC. There is only one thing I would improve: I would expand the tour for an hour, so there would be a little more time for each location and each tasting. In summary we had a great time with Curt! We were also able to satisfy ourselves from the quality of the restaurants shown, because we went for dinner at "Palma" and had dessert at "Rocco´s"! Grazie e a presto, Curt! | This was a great activity, enjoyed by my 20-year old son as well as my husband and myself. The food, information, history, jokes, etc were all great. We went back to the area and revisited some of the spots on the tour. A+++! | ||||||

| It rained the whole way through the tour, but we enjoyed it so much we didn't actually care! The tour guide (Kurt) was enthusiastic and very funny, and the places we visited on the tour were fantastic. The food was great and we actually returned to a restaurant that was recommended on the tour for dinner, and loved it. (A very intimate, romantic restaurant which served truly delicious food, that we never would have found without the tour to point it out) We would like to go on the other Food Tours provided all around New York as it was so helpful and interesting. | ||||||

| What a delightful adventure tasting our way through Greenwich Village! Our guide, Kurt Upton, was terrific....so knowledgeable, friendly and funny, of course. We explored places the ordinary traveler woiuld never find. It was a highlight of our time in NYC. | ||||||

| Our tour guide, Curt was edgy, hip, and humorous. The information about the neighborhood was good and useful enough so I will return to dine out and shop. The food tastings were generous and varied so definitely do not eat before and you won't need lunch after. It was a hit with our group! | ||||||

| If you ever worried about crime, grime or unfriendly people, RELAX! This is the nicest, cleanest and funniest tour you can take in New York. I'm only sorry I didn't make reservations sooner for all the other food tours. Our guide was humorous, knew all there was to know about the food and was a walking history book of the neighborhood. The food was delicious too but that was only the highlight. The guide made it a fun experience. I would recommend this to anyone, young or old. It rained and was still a blast! And if you're lucky enough to get Mr. Upton, it's your lucky day! Vicki and Brandi from Colorado | ||||||

| My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our food tasting and cultural tour. Our guide was very entertaining, full of anecdotes and stories of local interest and the 3 hours flashed by. We came away with a real feeling for the special world of "The Village" and tasted some excellent food samples from establishments that we would not normally have given a second look. This experience has certainly whetted our appetite and we will definitely try to take another tour in a different location when we next visit. | ||||||

| You will enjoy this and learn even if you've loved sushi for quite some time, like me. The host is very enthusiastic and a walking wikipedia of sushi and Japanese cuisine knowledge (although not actually of Japanese origin, interestingly). The food and drinks are good, but i would think of it more as lesson material and less as of a kind of dinner one might order at a restaurant. The host will walk you through a large number of different dishes prepared in very different ways and he will probably change a few preconcieved notions in the process. | ||||||

| This tour was fantastic! Our guide, Susan, was extremely knowledgeable and articulate. She was so comfortable guiding the group that she led us confidently and easily through the area. At the beginning she learned our names and by the end even knew things about each person on the tour, including food preferences. The foods sampled were varied and representative of the wide variety in the Village--from modern peanut butter menu to traditional Italian cheese-making. Several of us were not even hungry at suppertime because the portions were very generous. Two of our family members have lived or live now in NYC, even close enough to walk to the tour. Even for them the information and the sites that we visited were new and taught them a lot about the area. I will definitely plan to do one of your other food tours when I am in NYC again! | ||||||
