| Cindy was our tour guide - she was funny, knew the area and people around the market well!! All the food was excellent!! This is a great tour - to be able to see an up and coming district in the city before it gets too crowded! We have also taken the Greenwich tour (2X) and would recommend both tours very highly. Just wear comfortable shoes and be on your way!! Make sure you also leave time to go back and explore on your own! | ||||||

| Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He kept up a good pace and truly seemed to enjoy his job. Terrific selection of food. Vegetarian options available. My husband loved the "speakeasy" and we went back there later in the evening for a drink after revisiting the Italian restaurant ( for dinner) that we saw in the afternoon. | ||||||

| This was my third time on the tour in 3 years. I took my mom and dad who were visiting from Canada. They were very impressed. They loved trying the food and seeing the sights, with information from our guide. The guide was very knowledgable about the area. There was so much food, I was stuffed. We went to one of the restaurants on the tour and it was as she had told us - tasty, reasonable and great ambiance too. I would highly recommend this tour. | ||||||

| Our guide was Barri, a young woman who was appropriately friendly, lively, and presented very interesting information. I learned much about the history and architecture of the area which I really appreciated. I was very surprised at the amount of food samples we received, a tasty variety from many unique places. Plus we learned about many more, and plan to come back to our favorites. The next time we are in the city, we plan on taking one of the other tours. We have never had so much fun just wandering around by ourselves. | ||||||

| Went on this trip with my husband and we both loved it. Suspect we were particularly lucky with our leader - Kurt - who made the area come even more alive by his enthusiasm and knowledge. We've already recommended to family who live in New York and will be telling any friends in the UK who are planning trips to NYC that they should book a trip. Only similar tour we've taken was a great foodie tour of the Italian Quarter in Boston. This NYC tour had the added advantage of more food, not just little tastes. Only negative is that I think people should be banned from shopping en route as the rest of the party have to hang around waiting! | ||||||

| I loved this tour. The history was facinating and well reseached and delivered as we walked through the neighborhoods. Stopping in specialty shops as we walked along to taste delicious bites of home made delicacies was so much fun and yummy too! | ||||||

| This was our second time taking this tour. We went in the spring of 2004 and now just took a group of twelve with us!!! The tour was a bit different than the first tour, but still interesting and delicious! We also did the Meatpacking district tour this time, too! Also, was not disappointed. Grab some comfortable shoes, bring your appetite and go!!! | ||||||

| The tour was GREAT! The guide was very witty and gave us many good tips on places to go in Greenwich Village.. I would not have enjoyed the place so much without this first introduction... After the tour I went to one of the restaurants to dine.. Really good stuff!!!! I strongly recommend taking the tour..! Specially for the ones that like the "insider" information and not just the touristic stuff........ | ||||||

| The Margarita pizza at the start of the tour set the stage for a great tour. Our guide was so friendley and informative. She seemed to really enjoy her job. All the food samples were so good ,we sure were'nt hungry when it was over. We would recommend the tour highly. | ||||||

| This was such a great way to explore and learn about the history and culture of Greenwich Village while at the same time tasting great food from mom and pop places. We actually went back to about five of the places we learned about on the tour. | ||||||

| Michael gave us a tour that all of us agreed was the best one any of us had ever been on -- ever! The food was great, and more, the context of the history, local characters, architecture and secret hideaways made for an incredible world in three short hours. Highly recommend the tour and most especially Michael for his humor, enthusiasm, and insider scoop. He clearly loves his neighborhood and his city. | ||||||
