| Our tour guide was excellent! You feel like a local when you are done. I can't wait to come back and try some of the restaurants that were recommended. I don't feel like a tourist any longer. | ||||||

| Mike (our your guide) did a great job. My wife and I went back the next day and patronized Murray's Cheese, Bruno's, Rocco's, Aphrodisia and the Cornelia Street Cafe. We never would have found these fabulous shops if it weren't for the tour. We also enjoyed Mike's history and background of Greenwich Village. Is there anyone in the village that doesn't know and like Mike? We've been recommending the tour to everyone we've spoken to on our return home. Thanks for a wonderful Sunday afternoon in the city. | ||||||

| As a Native New Yorker, who spent too much of my mispent youth in "The" Village, I highly recommend this tour. I now live outside NYC, about 50 miles, just far enough to yearn for her often. I found that this tour was very entertaining but also informative and piqued my historical interest in the old neighborhoods of NYC. The food was worthy, however, I enjoyed the story-telling and historical references, including the architechture and the facts about the people that create the vibe and ambiance of "The" Village, those of today and yesterday, as far back as the early 19th century. I have "The" Village en quote because, as my theatrical tour guide, Michael, shared, this once quaint village, has now been split up into bastardized sections. ALAS! Though every nook and cranny is worth exploring, and the tour provides several suggestions. The food is good, the suggestions for individual exploration of food, culture and anything your heart desires are endless. The overall experience (for me)...priceless!! | ||||||

| This was our second tour with Foods of New York (we also did the Greenwich tour last year) and we loved it! The food is fantastic the insight and information abut the neighborhood was facinating and the guide was great. We look forward to a new trip being added to the mix - we will definately be back to take it if it happens! | ||||||

| The tour guide provided a lot of historical information and current developments in the Chelsea area and the market in which we spent most of the tour. The food that we tried was so delicious and the guide even pointed out food bargains, restaurants, and shops. | ||||||

| This was the best thing we did during our trip to New York. We ordered tickets based on the recommendation of an acquaintance and were so glad we listened. Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable and we felt like we learned a lot about Greenwich Village while eating some great food. I read a couple of reviews before our trip that said there was not enough food for each person. We had 16 people on our tour and we were all stuffed by the end and would not have been able to eat more if we had to. People were refusing food at the last stop because they were so full. I would highly recommend that you plan to do the tour the first or second day of your trip. We went the second day of our trip and spent the rest of it going back to Greenwich to eat at restaurants that we either sampled at on the tour or were recommended. Kurt, our guide, recommended a cozy little Italian place for our anniversary dinner and it was one of the best meals we have ever had. | ||||||

| Kurt was our tour guide. He was very informative and enthusiastic. He had humor and added many information about the village and concerned with our comfort during tour. He was fun and interesting. The village history, the archetectures and various review of area attraction and restaurant were helpful. This is my second tour and I have discovered something new on each tour. I highly recommend it. I plan to do a meat market tour on my next trip to New York. | ||||||

| This was a fun, tasty and informative tour. Our tour guide Curt was great. He was articulate and knowledgeable. He also had a good sense of humor that kept us entertained throughout the tour. The food was very good. The tour helped familiarize an area of NYC that we may not have ventured out to on our own. We even went back to that area for a late dinner later that day. We wished we had also done the tour of Chelsea Market after having so much fun on the tour of Greenwich Village. | ||||||

| I have been to New York four times and I must say this was one of the most enjoyable 3 hours that I have spent in the city. Our tour guide, Michael, was very informative, great sense of humor and he knew alot of interesting facts about Greenwich Village. The food was great!! Well worth the price we paid for the tour!!! | ||||||

| My group of 8 from the Midwest thorouly enjoyed the tasting and tour. The tour gave us a nice sense of the community and an idea of how some New Yorkers live. The next day our group of 8 ventured from Midtown Manhatten to Greenwich for dinner at Rossoteria and desert at Rocco's. We have already recommended it to family and friends, and we just returned from our vacation today! | ||||||
