| HI to all at Zerve and potential customers. We just returned from a great week in New York City and can easily say that two highpoints were our Zerve tours. The walking tour was fantastic. This is a tour for people who enjoy walkling for a good lengh of time and have grown children. Book early so that you can do this on your first day in the city. The restuarants you experience are hidden away and call for your time and attention. We did the tour on the last day of our trip and wished that we had time to stop into one of the many fascinating venues. The history and architectural part of the tour add to the enjoyment. "86 it" to the site and sign up today. Give Zerve a try...it is well worth the money. | ||||||

| The tour was excellent. Mary, our guide, was knowledgeable and very pleasant. I have lived in NYC or visited regularly since 1970 and I saw some places for the first time. We will definately be back for more tours. | ||||||

| The "Mayor of Greenwich Village" was great .. he knew had great stoies and secrets about the area that it was sad when the tour was over. The different foods were great too .. already planning to do it again with friends from out of town. | ||||||

| My two teenage girls and I attended this tour and it was the overwhelming concensus that this was the best tour we had ever been on. We misjudged the amount of time needed to get to the meeting location and then got lost trying to find the meeting location. We knew that we would be late. Our call to the Food Tours office was met w/ a very understanding operator who stayed on the cell phone w/ us and all the while directing us to the proper location. The tour tasting ranged from sampling pizza, cannolis, chocolate candy, different cheeses/olives, fafela , fruited pastry tarts. .......all very yummy! I am sure no one left the tour hungry. We visited some highly recommended restaurants (some w/ garden surroundings). One even had been a speakeasy in years past and we got to see the secret door where patrons would exit to hide from the authorities . The cultural and historical highlights were fascinating. Our tour guide (Chris) was great and was always respectful of the Village's residents and business owners incorporating them into our experience whenever he was able. This tour would be one that I would highly recommend especially at the beginning of one's visit to NYC so you can have time later to go back on your own to experience the neighborhood more in depth. | ||||||

| This is a great tour! The guide was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable, and gave lots of interesting factoids about the places we visited. The food is AMAZING and you are definitely full when you leave. It's definitely a PG-13 tour given the area's history, but the racy bits are fun. Would definitely do this again with friends from out of town. | ||||||

| Although some of the food offerings were very good, others fell short. Particularly, good was the canoli (Rocco's), but the pizza (Joe's) was average, at best, and I prefer thin crust pizzas. The cheeses offered were also average. I also thought the history of the neighborhood was good but could have been better. I would rate this part an 8.5. | ||||||

| I really enjoyed this tour, though I wish we could have tasted more lunch-food and less dessert. Our tour guide Michael, was funny, told great stories, and knew alot about the neighborhood. The chocolate chip cookies from Milk and Cookies were BEST that I have ever eaten! | ||||||

| Started out on this adventure. Met guide, Kurt, very entertaining and informed about the neighborhood. Tastings were amazing and definitely changed our ideas of having to have some lunch before heading home to Pa. (we were full) AMAZING!! Definitely would recommend for anyone to do learned some neat facts and had some good foods and ideas for nites to explore and have dinner in the village. Only thing, reminder to hold onto your water bottles many stops had free refill stations, and that is a major plus. Take this tour it is fun! Culture facts as interesting as the food facts. | ||||||
