| After reading about this tour over and over, finally took the time to actually participate. So glad I did! The food was fantastic; the restaurants and village quaint. Michael, our tour guide, seemed to know everyone and everything about the area. All five in my group, including two teenagers, thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Will be back again with my trusty restaurant guide in hand! | ||||||

| This is my second Foods of New York Tasting Tour taken. It is a great way to learn about the city, while having fun. The tour guide on my Greenwich Village outing, Cindy, was a delight. Her energy, knowledge, passion and ingenuity were terrific. Part of the uniqueness of this tour is the ability to interact with all participants at the various food stops. The small size of the group is ideal and the value unequalled. It is a great way to spend a perfect day for both locals and visitors. I recommend highly. Sincerely, Bill Denhard | ||||||

| A 3 hour easy walking tour of local businesses that give you a real feeling for the original immigrants of back when. Interesting background information at every stop- quickly spoken. Great sampling of foods- to tell you where you will stop would ruin the surprises along the way! | ||||||

| Terrific guide. Made the day interesting and fun. Am from the area but learned a great deal about a part of the city with which I was unfamiliar. Nice way to spend a day - even in the sweat of summer (we went on a 95 degree day). Highly recommended. | ||||||

| The Greenwich Village Food Tour was one of the most enjoyable things I did on my recent trip to NYC. What a great way for a visitor to sample the local flavor, literally and figuratively! Our guide was knowledgeable and funny and the food we tried was fantastic. My group went back to one of the restaurants for dinner the next night and we had a fabulous meal in the garden - this is a restaurant that we never would have known about had it not been for the GVFT. | ||||||

| We had a good time. I did not like that we ate pizza from 2 locations next door to each other right after one another. It seemed like we did some backtracking also. It would be a good idea to allow 5-10 minutes to shop at any location where goods are sold. | ||||||

| This tour was my favorite part of my trip to NYC! I had never been to Greenwich Village before and the tour guide really gave me a great inside look into the area. He was very funny and knowledgable. I got more than I expected and in fact would do it again next time I go!!! The food was great and there was plenty of it. I felt like I was getting something that other tourists would never have known about. LOVED IT**** | ||||||

| We were a group of 2 moms and 4 college kids. The tour was grand from start to finish. Kurt was our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His familiarity with the area and restuarants there made every bit of the tour just perfect, even in 95 degree weather! The food was super and the kids with us appreciated that. We learned so much about the history and architecture in Greenwich Village, and I know that we will go back. I will be back with an adult group in October, and we will hope to do the Chelsea/Meatpacking tour...but only with Kurt!!! | ||||||

| Traveled to NYC with spouse and daughters age 10 and 14. First time for my daughters. Tour was recommended highly by my sister a resident of NYC. Although she had never been on the tour herself (although now she is planning on it), she has received rave reviews about it from her friends. Curt, our travel guide, was stupendous and the girls really enjoyed all the tidbits of info he provided. We loved all the tasty treats and the girls still talk about Joe's pizza. My youngest even was excited to see previews of Spiderman 2 where Toby Maguire is working at Joe's. Had a wonderful time in NYC and this tour was certainly a highlight. Can't wait to do the Chelsea Market tour next time, hope we can request Curt as our tour guide. | ||||||

| It couldn't have been hotter in Greenwich Village! But our tour guide made every effort to keep us in the shade while he told interesting stories. We had water and numerous opportunities to buy more as we needed it. We tasted great foods and heard terrific stories. I had been on this tour about four years ago, and enjoyed it so much that I arranged it for a different group of friends this time. The friends that were with me remarked that they expected the food, but not the cultural commentary on past and current Greenwich Village. After we said good bye to the group in front of the Minetta Tavern, we decided that we could use one more comfort stop before we left the Village. We bellied up to the bar at the Minetta Tavern for a refreshing iced tea and used their restroom. They, too, were most friendly and hospitable. As we were walking on Minetta Street, we walked past the little off Broadway theater that was offering the performance "Cookin'. " We bought tickets for the following evening. We returned to Greenwich Village that evening in time to have dinner at the Cornelia Street Cafe before enjoying the show. Of course, we had fun debating just where we would dine -- because we had an insider's view point. I'm sure that we would have enjoyed the food at any number of establishments, but the food and service at the Cornelia Street Cafe was exceptional. Our visit to New York and our evening out in the Village would have been very different had we not taken the tour. Bravo! | ||||||

| I really enjoyed the food tour because it is something unique that Ihave never thought about doing before. the only thing missing is perhaps more bathroom breaks. that would have made the tour more enjoyable. other then that, the food was great and the tour was interesting. I would like to do it again next time I went back to new york city. | ||||||

| It was great. I loved it, as well as the 3 other people in the group. I did this same tour last year and came back for more. The food was great, the tour guide was nice and informative and it was a great day. Next time, I'll be doing the Chelsea Market tour with foods of NY. Thanks! | ||||||

| The food was great. The guide was great. The information was interesting. We got to be inside, out of the elements for most of the tour. It was well worth the time and money. | ||||||
