| We had a great time touring the Chelsea Market and Meatpacking district! All the food we got to sample was so yummy. We were really happy with the serving size at each stop. You really don't need to have lunch afterwards. There's a great mix of different kinds of food to try. It was definately worth the money. Our tour guide, Kurt was so enthusiastic and descriptive. He made the tour. We don't know about any of the other tour guides, but if you get Kurt, you're going to have a good time. You can tour the Chelsea Market on your own, but you won't be able to sample the food and you won't learn any of the history ot the area. We wish there were more tours out there like this one. | ||||||

| Our tour was outstanding, thanks to our tour guide, Michael Clark!. He did a fantastic job of not only providing historical information on Greenwich Village, but also added inside information about the area that only a local could know. Anyone could have relayed the history of Greenwich Village, but he made it come alive, as he gave detailed accounts of not only the buildings and the food of the area, but also provided tidbits on the culture and spotlighted some of the current and previous residents of this very diverse area. As the group toured the Village, it was obvious that Michael had spent many years in this area of New York, for we ran into many residents that greeted him with big smiles and hugs. That personal connection with the community made all the difference in our tour. Thanks, Michael. I can't wait to return to what has now become my favorite part of NYC. | ||||||

| We brought a niece and nephew, each 15, and we are young grandparents. We all enjoyed our guide, Michael, and the tour and food. Not much walking, but lots of good information, history and taste treats. We do recommend it. | ||||||

| I enjoyed the tour overall, but I preferred the Greenwich Village tour. I thought that there was some interesting facts and information as well as nice food tastings on this tour, but feel that the Village tour had more to offer in terms of food value and neighborhood facts. Good tour to do in inclement weather because most of the time is spent indoors at the Chelsea market. | ||||||

| I had a great time and also now know where to go when I am in the neighborhood. I learned so much more about the Chelsea Market even though I had been there many times before. | ||||||

| Susan, our tour guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. She seemed a bit disorganized at first, but move past that once we got going. Her stories about the businesses, buildings, development of the area, etc were very interesting. The tastings were varied, tasty and interesting as well. A little more awareness of keeping the group "together" as we went from location to location would be recommended. Several pairs got temporarily behind and disoriented, but were able to catch up. That could be a problem.......... All in all a very nice tour. I would recommend it to others. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the tour. This is a great way to see up close areas that we would normally pass by as a part of a bus tour. We actually came back for Dinner at one of the restaurants and had a wonderful time. We are planning to come back next year and do the Meat Packing Tour. My only recommendation would be to expand to more areas of town. | ||||||

| My husband and I really enjoyed the Greenwich Village tour. Our guide, Rebecca, shared a lot of interesting facts with us on the area and we really learned a lot and had a lot of fun. The tastings were very good and we really enjoyed all the stops. I would highly recommend the tour for anyone, regardless of age, etc. The restaurant recommendations were wonderful - we went back later that night for dinner at Palma's and it was excellent. | ||||||

| I'd start the tour a little later if pizza is the first stop. At ten thirty in the AM perhaps coffee and pastry and a tour before getting into the heavy food. But very interesting tour. Enjoyed the history and the small tours. Guide was very knowledgeable and personable. | ||||||

| My friends and I took this tour on 6-17-05 and had a wonderful time. The walk was a pleasant one at a pleasant pace with many stops and stories along the way. I learned so much and had fun doing so. At the particular spots where we tasted foods, the hosts were generous and hospitable. The foods were great and it gave us a chance to find places where we would like to sit down for a full meal during our stay in NY. At the end of the tour, we took advantage of the wine tasting where we sampled 5 different wines of our choice from a dashing young bartender at the wine bar. He was well versed in NY wines and we all purchased some to bring back to our hotel to drink during our stay. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this tour to young - middle aged curious adults with a quest for knowledge, new foods and wine. I only wish we had booked the other tour as well. | Exciting tastings from excellent food shops and restaurants we never would have found without this tour. Very proffessional guide who learned us so much more than just about the food. A really nice walk through a pleasant area where we the following days (and nights) experienced both tasty food and valuable shopping as well as a couple of nice beers and some good jazz. | ||||||
