We really enjoyed it and have already recommended it to a number of friends. The tour leader was just excellent - very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! The only suggestion we would make is to keep the numbers smaller - possibly 12-15. Our group was quite large and it was sometimes difficult visiting very small establishments. |

Very enjoyable -- and wonderfully tasty. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. He seemed to be having a great time showing off his neighborhood and made the tour a most pleasant experience for everyone. |

Top rate! Combination of anthropology, sociology, ethnic foods, and history. Really helped to understand the neighborhood. Would recommend w/o reservations. |

Really enjoyed it and went back to the area several times over the course of the next two weeks. Ate at a couple of the suggested restaurants and bought some coffee and sweets and a couple of the shops. Guide was great and seemed to be liked by the locals. |

I would highly recommend it. I would think that the business' in the area would want you to continue. Even though they gave "samples" of food products, we later returned and bought many items from thoe same vendors. Quality of the food items were excellent.
It was informative, probably knowing a little more history of the area would be good. Todd our tour guide was excellent.
You might suggest to the owner of the Chelsea market that they should take some space and have a pictorial museum. How the neighbor hood has changed. what ethic groups were from that area. Getting to visit the B&B was a real treat!!!!
Question of my own: We have done a food tour of Greenwich village area, do you have plans for doing a tour of any other area? Thank you......... |

This was my second time on the same tour, but the first for my two friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Both my friends are still talking about it and plan to take the Greenwich tour next time. The guide was great, informative and patient, full of interesting facts. Great job and well worth the fee. |

The guide was great. Really seemed to know the location well. Tour was very informative and the places visited on the tour were great as well. I feel I know the area better because of this tour. Hoping to return a few years to see what changes are done. |

At first, when the group spent so much time in the restaurant area, we began to wonder if it was more an advertisement than a real walking tour. However, after we had 'snacked' our way around that section of the Village, we headed out into the residential areas and really enjoyed the architectural and historical information Andre, our guide, had to share. He was very good and established an excellent rapport with the group. And, it's true, you won't want lunch when you're done! We would definitely recommend this tour. |

Our tour guide was terrible. He was BORING, difficult to hear, and lacked energy. We ended up leaving half way through it. We would have left sooner, but we kept hoping it would get better. More or less, we spent 1.5 hours on Bleeker Street, walking slowly from one restaurant/food store to another. The guide would stop us, stand in front of the menu, and then read from it. I felt ripped off and like I wasted 2 hours of my day. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this tour. It was a complete disappointment. |

I had visited NYC several times and had always wanted to try this tour. Last trip was in Jan. so didn't buy tickets in advance due to the cold/rainy/snowy weather. But purchased tickets online in advance this time, since many of the dates/times were sold out already. Very excellent tour. Not only was the food tasting great, but also the history of Greenwich Village. Andre was very knowledgable and an excellent guide. Only suggestion would be to have a "sit down" break halfway. Three hours is a long time of standing and walking. |
