Our tour guide, Kurt, was funny, informative and energetic. We got everything we wanted from that tour and more. Don't forget not to eat before you go. There is more than enough food to fill you up. I recommend this tour to all.

You won't leave hungry or without a ton of information on the area. Great walking tour with additional stops at area shops so you know where to go back for great finds!! The food was plentiful, tasty and very different from what I would pick out by walking these streets on my own. A tour I highly recommend.

A wonderful walking food and history adventure! Raheem, our tour guide, brought the trip fully alive by giving great historical descriptions and narratives about the area as we walked. Food sampling was varied and very tasty. My grown daughters and I would, of course, love to take another tour someday!

Barri, our guide, was very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We all had a great time we even went back to several of the shops after the tour to pick up snacks to have before our show that evening. We are planning to include many of the resturants and activities she recomended in our next visit to New York. It was a great way to have lunch and great break from the crowds. We are also going to include one of your other tours in our next visit. You did a wonderful job Thank You!

My husband, teenage daughter, and I took this tour and we all had a great time. Our tour guide, Barri, was very knowledgeable about the history of the town and of the local shops we visited. There is plenty to eat on this lunch tour, even for my husband, My family and I found that things do, indeed, cost more in NYC, but we felt like we truly got our money's worth and then some on this tour!

The Chelsea Market/Meat Packing District was a fabulous tour - Kurt was GREAT - he remembered everyone's name, personalized the experience, was well prepared, and the variety of tastings and stops was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hour tour - all the details - highly recommended this to anyone visiting the city, and we look forward to experiencing other foodsofnyc tours.

For the few people who have food allergies/conditions, tour could have been better accomodaing. Would have been very easy, for example, for the pizza vendors to give me a piece of cheese or tomatoes, which they did not. But overall the guide was conscious of my problem, and did try to help. Felt like our tour could have used more info about the area, and other restaurants along the way. Did not learn too much about the history of the village, which I would have liked. And maybe a set bathroom stop half-way would have been good. But overall excellent.

Kurt did a wonderful job with the tour! He was very interactive and entertaining! I have already told my friends here in Cincinnati about it. I am especially looking forward to possibly going back to stay in the bed and breakast! My mom and I actually went back to the area later that day and walked around to look at the shops and had dinner at the Lobster Place. Best clam chowder I have had in years. I would also like to maybe do the Chinatown tour the next time I visit.

The tour was very informative and yummy. Curt has unbelievable name recognition. Loved the Lobster Bisque. Nine year old daughter a little bored since there were no toy stores on the tour. We could have skipped the tea store and spent more time in the basket market.

This activity was both delicious and worthwhile for me, and my family. It allowed us to taste a wide variety of types of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes, as well as beer and sakes, that we would not otherwise have been adventurous enough to order, since it is such an intimidating experience to order a meal comprising components with which you are totally unfamiliar. I have frequently found that the fish other than tuna, and even tuna on fairly frequent occassions, at Japanese restaurants tastes"fishy". Having a meal of such high quality fish presented to me, so that there was not fishiness whatsoever (except in several pieces of the squid) was wonderfully empowering. I will, in the future, feel comfortable complaining about the quality of what I am being served, and will also be comfortable ordering a wider variety of species of fish, knowing that they should not taste fishy. In addition, the price, although higher than an average meal in a Japanese restaurant, was affordable enough that it is very likely that I/we will repeat the tour. One more plus was that we were taught about the history and the properties of the foods we were eating by a very charming "guide" who shepherded us through the 2+ hour meal.

We were all very impressed by the tour. Our guide, Marie, was very friendly and welcoming, and she had a wide knowledge of the Greenwich Village area and its history. The tastings were well chosen and represented a variety of foods available in the neighbourhood, and they were on the whole, delicious. This tour was recommended to us by friends, and we would certainly recommend it to others visiting New York.
