Foods of New York Tours

The Greenwich Village Food & Culture tour was recommended to us and we are so pleased that we did it! Sephrah, our tour guide, was brilliant! We literally laughed the whole 3 hours and time went by oh so quickly! The food was delicious, oh I wish Joe's Pizza was just round the corner! The culture aspect was very interesting and made me wish I had done other neighbourhood tours around NYC. I highly recommend it and would go on it again!

A great combination of history and variety of tastings. Really gave us a feel for the "Village." Our tour guide was Safra (sp?) was very witty and entertaining. It was obvious that she loves Greenwich Village as well as sharing it with others. She even volunteered to send us some of the recipes. I sure hope she does. Many thanks. Sharon

Ted was an excellent guide for the afternoon. So friendly and enthusiastic. I loved the choices Zerve had for food and the bit of history taught along the way. I enjoyed every place and can't wait to go back to Greenwich Village to try the places again. In fact my next stay in New York will be in the Village. Thank you for a fantastic day.

We did a tour of the village with Ted, he was excellent. He was very friendly, informative, and really good at what he does. We had a group of about 14. My family lives outside of the city but my sister works in the city and was so happy she did this. We were thinking of how normally you'd walk down the street searching for somewhere to eat, but this tour gave us so many place to go back and try. It was a great way to spend the day in the city, we also appreciated how they accomodated to vegetarians, thank you!! The history of the area was very interesting. We were very full after the tour but stayed around and went to some other stores when we were done.

There were five in our group. We loved all the information given on the area from the culture to the history. We thought the food selections were very good with a good variety. We tried things we had never tried previously and want to eat more. We all had different favorites, but all enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend to others.

I've been to New York City multiple times and this food tour by far made it the best trip! Our tour guide Raheem(spelling?) was awesome and made us feel very comfortable. The group was about 16 or so and was nice not to have it so crowded with tons of other people. Couldn't have asked for a better time and better tour of The Village and Soho :) can't wait to try another one!

What a great tour, Burt our tour guide was fabulous and very knowledgable, we learned so much beyond the food. The Grenwich tour offered a history of the neighbourhood and the Architecture which really added to the tour. I highly recommend this to anyone, it was very relaxed, you didn't feel pushed in anyway.

It could not have been better. The food was delicious and the samples generous. The tour guide, Bert, was very knowledgeable. I went on this same tour last year but I wanted to come back and bring my husband. I thought it might be a bit boring and repetitious. Actually, I learned some new things and the food was just as good as last year. My husband and adult son both loved it. It was a beautiful way to spend Mother's Day.

Tour was informative, food was great - I would of like to go into some of the establishments instead of always standing outside but other than that was good.

This was my second time taking this tour after about 6 years and it was as good as the first time. The food was out of this world (don't eat breakfast!). Great restaurant recommendations in a city where the sheer number of options is overwhelming. Marie had great stories and inside scoops. Walking through a neighbourhood with an expert gave a real appreciation for the history of the area. Highly recommend this tour!!
