| A group of us ages 25-30 went on this tour, mix of guys and gals. Some neat background given about the village and SoHo, but it should be stated that this is a food tasting tour rather than just a food tour, because we were still quite hungry after the 3 hrs. Like another review, this could have been done in 2 hrs, by the time the 2nd hour was over we were pretty much ready to go. More food less talking would have been nicer. Overall it was alright. Maybe locals would enjoy the history more. | ||||||

| We were in NYC on a "girls weekend", and thought this tour would be a great way to see the Central Village/SoHo area. We were RIGHT! All of the food tastings were of a very high quality with generous portion sizes. We enjoyed the varied types of food that were presented. We especially liked Monte's and the Gnocchi that was served, so much so that we had to return later in the evening for dinner. Our guide, Susan, was wonderful. We loved all the history/stories she told us about the area in addition to the food tastings. The whole experience was great, we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting NYC! | This was truly one of the best things we did in New York! We were 3 generations attending this tour, my mom, myself and my teenage daughter and ALL 3 of us LOVED IT. Truly worth every minute and and penny we spent on this tour. David was our guide he was both very knowledgeable and fun! It even rained, actually poured on us during the tour and he provided us both shelter when needed and rain ponchos, because we were not prepared for the storm. Even with the rain I will do this tour again and will try some of the others when I come back to NYC!!!!! A+++++++++ | ||||||

| I am from Canada and attended this tour with two friends and we all enjoyed it immensely. Dave was our tour guide and he was very informed about all of the different foods, restaurants and the history of the area. We had some short bursts of heavy rain when touring and were provided with ponchos which was great. Dave also changed the order of the tour to get us out of the rain as much as possible. The food was delicious and we definitely didn't need lunch after the tour. I would be happy to go on another tour provided by Foods of New York. | ||||||

| We had a great time on the Chelsea Market tour. Our guide, Kurt, was fabulous - quite entertaining and knowledgeable. We ate and ate on the tour and the food was fantastic. I would recommend this tour highly and am looking forward to trying one of your other tours. | ||||||

| My friends and I had a great time on this tour. We saw a lot of very intersting buildings and history in the West Village and tried some great food! We were full when we left and talked about coming back to try some of the spots mentioned on the tour in the future. | ||||||

| This tour was fun and informative. We tasted a nice variety of food from the local restaurants, and our guide gave us great information about the village. It was a hot day in August, but we always managed to find a patch of shade to stand under when we stopped if we were not inside. As a bonus, a flavored water distributor stopped by our group twice with free samples that were very welcome! The tour would have been perfect if we had been able to sit down at a few of the restaurants (that only happened once). As the restaurants are all small and our tour was during the lunch hour, that is not something that is feasible. Despite our tired feet, my group had a great time and we were glad we did the tour at the beginning of our visit to NYC. I highly recommend the tour with these suggestions- wear walking shoes and comfortable clothing, make sure both your hands are free (I carried a small backpack instead of a purse), bring a camera, and be prepared to walk! | ||||||

| I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Our guide was wonderful, informative and efficient. I will participate in another tour the next time I am in NYC. One thing, please don't forget to tip your guide. They deserve it. | ||||||

| I was hoping for more tasting on the tour so I was dissapointed at the fact that we stoped at alot of restaurants that they only talked about. I appreciated that the tour guide was knowledgable with a good sense of humor. | ||||||

| This tour was great. Our guide Kurt was interesting, enthusiastic & knowledgeable. The tour not only covered Chelsea Market but the surrounding area. We were well fed, informed and entertained. I am a vegetarian and Kurt was well prepared to meet my dietary desires. He even gave us the inside scoop about how enjoy a delicious 5 course meal at Del Posto without paying their usual very high price, which we did that evening. This is my 2nd tour with this company (the first was Greenwich Village) and I will happily go on another tour with them. | ||||||

| I thought the Greenwich Village Food Tasting and Cultural Tour was FANTASTIC!!! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, friendly and interesting. I didn't realize how much history happened in that area. The food was delicious. We were full when we finished the tour, so we were very happy. I would highly recommend this tour for any age group. It is an absolute must do! I plan to do another tour next time I am in the city. I will tell all my friends about this tour, I feel certain they will also sign up. Thanks for making my trip memorable. | ||||||
