| We were amazed as the choices of pizza, thai food, bread, cheeses, canoli, cookies and more that we enjoyed on this tour! Despite blistering 90+ degree NY weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our taste of Greenwich Village. Our guide was full of fun facts and great inside tips about the current neighborhood and its history. My group consisted of a mom and her 2 sons, ages 21 and 18. We all enjoyed it. | ||||||

| The tour and tour guide, Marie, were just delightful. As a local, most of us rarely do the "tourist" thing and what a mistake! This is a fun must do tour of the Village. Marie was knowledgeable and fun. Thought I knew the history of the Village, but Marie provided us with even more tidbits of information......Speaking of tidbits, the food was delicious and we were stuffed by the end of the tour. Well, not so stuffed as to pass up Rocco's delicious cannoli! Post tour our group of friends retraced our steps and bought more goodies ( cheese, oil, did I mention those cannolis?) to take home. It was a Win-Win for all! Thanks, a wonderful tour. We plan to do your other tours.....in the Fall when it's a bit cooler. | ||||||

| This was a wonderful food tour in two areas of the city I wanted to know more about--Chelsea and the Meatpacking District. I had been on the original Greenwich Village tour and had an idea about what to expect on this tour. The guide, Ed, was very informative about the history of the Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District, so he had many interesting facts to throw in as we meandered our way through the tour. The taste testing was great and offered a huge variety of foods-- cookies, lobster bisque, olives, gelato, tea...and the list goes on. DO NOT EAT before coming on this tour or you will have to turn down some pretty delicious foods. I thought the tour was not too long--just long enough--and thank goodness much of the tour (at least half) was inside the Chelsea Market, so if the weather is not the best (we had extreme heat--about 98-99 degrees outside) you can still enjoy yourself. I would recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your New York visit so that you can return to these food establishments and shop. | ||||||

| I had a wonderful day. Our tour guide, Susan, was terrific and full of great knowledge of the area. The tastings were very good and fresh. The portions were perfect. I left with a full belly and a new understanding of the area. Great time!!!! Will do it again. | ||||||

| It was a wonderful day, and our group of Red Hat ladies decided to take this tour of Grenwich Village. We are so glad we did!!! Our tour guide Susan was wonderul. SHe was very knowledgable, fun and made the day so enjoyable... I would recommend this tour to everyone! | ||||||

| Our tour of Greenwich Village was amazing. We started off meeting our very witty and informative tour guide Michael at Murray's on Blecker street. Our three hour tour was full of just enough history,humor and delicious food. My friends and I loved learning and eating our way through the very quaint,but lively village. The food was varied and delicious.We went right back after our tour to three of the shops that we sampled food from and sampled some more! My friends and I can't wait to go back to experience another tour. | ||||||

| It was nearly 90 degrees and our tour guide Susan was thoughtful enough to keep us in the shade while speaking the culture and providing us with a few air conditioned stops to get refreshed. The food was grand and definately will be comnig back with friends to try some of the other places on the tour. My one recomendation would be to do plain fresh mozzarella as our group (50%) dont like smoked food and the smoked cheese was potent... The sausage from across the street on the other hand was FANTABULOUS! cheers. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend this to locals and tourists. Filled with just the right amount of historical and cultural information, along with amazing food samples. Gave us lots of good ideas for future use - dinners out, and gift options. Our guide, Amy, was outstanding. I've been telling everyone about this tour and will continue to do so. It was great. | We have been taking a trip to the city every summer and were looking for something a little different to do. This was a great find. We were all amazed at the history behind this area, and the food we sampled was delicious! When I visit again I plan on trying another one of the tours offered. | ||||||

| I also went on the Chelsea Market tour and liked the locations of the Village Tour better but the food offerings from the Chelsea Market tour better. It's a trade-off between location or food! However, I did enjoy both and would recommend them. Thank you. | ||||||
