| Our tour guide clearly enjoyed Greenwich and appeared to have deep knowledge about the local culture and food. The guide did a good job of pacing, switching between eating establishments, pointing out local sights, and telling stories of village history and colorful local individuals. The food part of the tour was primarily focused specialty shops (italian deli, cheese shop, pizza) which make up part of the local scene as opposed to the heavy hitting restaurants in the village. The literature handed out as well as commentary during the tour gave a good broad picture of the food scene as well. The part of the tour focused on local haunts, architecture, and historical development was entertaining and well balanced with the overall tour. In summary, this tour efficiently and enjoyably introduced me to Greenwich and gave me a reasonable understanding of the range of food it had to offer. | ||||||

| Thoroughly enjoyed this tour and the food selections. Feel like it's a better tour for people who will be in NYC a bit longer than a couple of days so that you can go back to these places and enjoy them. Was a bit disappointed with the 'Soho' part of the tour which amounted to essentially one block of Soho. A great block with 3 good tastings, to be sure. But barely skimmed Soho. This should be called just the Central Village tour. | ||||||

| About 7 seven years ago I and a few women took the tour. We thought it was great at that time. So when my daughter and I decided to go to New York we book the tour again. It was still Greenwich Village, but the tour was different. We saw some of the same sites but there were different and just as interesting sites, the food was still great but different. Both guides were very entertaining. We both truly enjoyed the tour. | ||||||

| This tour is great. Especially if you've lived here and think you know all the good spots. You learn interesting NYC history and discover some hidden gems. The tour guide is really knowledgeable, and the places we stopped at were great. The background was always interesting, and provided an excellent backdrop for what we were trying. My only complaint is that it felt long after a while, and yet we still didn't get to go in to as many places as I'd like. But, on a gorgeous day, it's a perfect way to spend the day. I would definitely recommend these tours. | ||||||

| Even though it rained on and off all afternoon, our tour guide, Barri, was prepared with plastic ponchos for the group, plenty of enthusiasm, and a great sense of humor. We had a great time - the tastings were delicious. The tour started on time and ended on time, and we spent some time afterwards revisiting stores and purchasing things we couldn't live without. We're talking about taking another food tour in August. | ||||||

| I learned more about the history of Greenwich Village in tthis tour's hree hours than I did living in the New York area for 7 years. Our guide, Dave, was knowledgeable and fun to spend the time with. The food was wonderful, and certainly gave a comprehensive gastronomic overview of the area. We are returning in November, and will definitely take another of these tours. | ||||||

| My daughter and her family were visiting from Ohio for the holiday weekend and we ussually plan some activity for them to do in NYC. My neighbors told me about the "Walking Tours" and how great they are so we tried it . We will certainly do it again and will try the other tours. | We were a bit skeptical when we signed-up for the tour, wondering if it would be worth our time and money. After our first bite of pizza, we knew it was going to be fun. Tour guide Michael was knowledgeable and humorous, adding trivia gems as we walked. Food samples were excellent and varied. Our only advice is not to do this tour on your last day in NYC. We are anxious to return and revisit Greenwich Village. We highly recommend this tour to anyone. | ||||||
