Foods of New York Tours

The food was incredible, bet I've had since I've been ere and the toe guide was super fun. I'd definitely recommend it as it was te favorite pasty of my whole New York trip. Obviously I love food

The food was great and the tour guide provided a lot of information on the area. It was a great way to learn about Greenwich Village and New York City.

Had wanted to do a food tour to have an insight into what to order if you go into a deli ,ie pastrami , rye , bagels ,on the side etc . What I got was much much more ! So happens that I still don't know how to ask for a sandwich but the detail and humour that Kurt put into his tour was exceptional . Vast vast knowledge about the area and its people ( he personally knows the people that go past as we invade their area and they couldn't be nicer about it . Amazing thing is ,he asked everyone's name and remembered them and spoke to everyone individually within the group and involved everyone ( you could come alone and still be part of a fun day ) . Plenty to eat , from pizza to cheese to eggplant etc etc . I wouldn't like to waste the event by telling you everything that happens but we surprised my sister and brother in law by booking them on the tour with us and they said it was by far the highlight of our 7 day trip . ( we were on our second visit ,my sister on her third and she was raving about it ) . Your tour guide must engage with his / her party and we could easily still have been with Kurt till midnight . A great day had by all

My daughter and I went on this tour and had a great time. The restaurants sampled were great and provided a "taste" of what the area has to offer. The tour guide was very knowledgeable not only of the restaurants but also of the history of the area and the restaurants that we visited. The tour guide learned it was my daughter's birthday and surprised her with a birthday dessert at one of the restaurants. I would definitely do another tour.

Very knowledgeable guide who had lots of facts about the history and culture of the largest Chinatown in the US, maybe the world. I've lived here many years but never knew so much interesting info about this rich cultural enclave. Food was delicious--now I know where to eat!

We ended our trip to NY with this tour.. Bert was AWESOME! Very knowledgeable of not just Greenwich Village but NYC as a whole. The food we had was AMAZING and we definitely plan to try those restaurants when we go back to NY. I would highly recommend Bert or anyone from Foods of NY Tours. I was recommended by a friend who has done a couple of the tours. We will definitely be doing another tour when we return to the city.

Loved the tour. A girlfriend has done it twice and recommended it. The three hours flew by. You learn so much history while eating great food. Who could ask for more. I would highly recommend it. Wear comfortable shoes and eat very light before going.

Great informal fun tour. Nice mix of history of the area and the building as well as background of the food you are eating.

A great guided walking tour for the area,especially for tourists visiting NYC.Bert did a good job,The Bleeker Street Pizza was the best pizza ever.The only drawback is that there are too many cheese items,Would recommend and look forward to another tour if visiting NYC again.

This was my third tour with Foods of New York and it was another great experience. Our guide, Rahim, was very animated and knowledgeable. There was plenty of food and a nice variety. Highly recommended!

As a group of 4 we enjoyed the food and culture walk immensely. The food was good and our tour guide, Raheed, was very knowledgeable. Would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see a different side of New York.

We had the best tour guide, Bert. He was very informative about the area but also fun and casual. It was a great way to find little spots to eat in the area. The food samples were generous and delicious. Thank you and we will definitely do this again when we return to NYC. We will also return to most of the spots on the tour and recommend them to others.
