Buy tickets for this wonderful tour at the begining of your stay. We learned so much about how a local lives in the Village that we returned two times. We took advantage of a few neighborhood restaurants, an off broadway theater, and a great jazz club. The food tasting on this tour were absolutely delicious, there were enough that the both of us left the tour full. Our tour had about 16 people on it and everone had a great time. I have to say that it was one of the best parts of our trip to New York!! The tour was very informative, fun and was a great way to see a special part of New York. I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to New York and actually already have. If we do make it back to New York again the Grenwich Village tour will definitely be on our list. Don't wait to take this tour--make it your first priority. I wandered Greenwich on my own but after the tour I absolutely loved the area and felt like an old timer--no wondering where to get a good meal. Will take another one next time I come to New York!!

A very interesting tour covering points of architectural and historical interest as well as the food content. The selection of food stores and the samples provided were excellent. The overall sucess of the tour was very much due to the knowledge and personality of our guide. I would wholeheartedly recommend the tour to anyone interested in food and the history of new York.

I thought the tour was really great. The guide was so knowledgeable and informative. We really enjoyed the history and archetecture information. The food was well chosen and very yummy. However, I wish that our tour guide had a little more control over our group. There were people that we were always waiting for. As a result, we ended the tour late. Also, I wonder if there was information we missed out on because some group members were taking their time shopping and we had to wait for them. I wonder if the tour guide would have ended up telling us more.

We had a wonderful time and learned a great deal while we enjoyed delicious foods from the market. Todd, our tour guide, was knowledgable and genuinely enjoyed giving the tour. This made the experience that much more exciting. It was fantastic and we have already recommended this tour to family and friends.

I truly enjoyed hearing about the history of the area. I found the stories about the past history and current shop operations very interesting. I will come back to Greenich Village on my next trip for sure. The savings discovered in the experience paid for the trip.

This tour was a highlight of our trip to New York. We greatly enjoyed the many spots at which we stopped, including the wonderful food samples, and learned a lot about the area we toured. I have sung praises about this tour since I went on it. I am a native New Yorker, originally from Queens and now living upstate NY, and have spent considerable time in Greenwich Village over the years. This tour was one of the best things I've ever done. I got to sample the best foods, see some great restaurants, and also throw in some very interesting historical neighborhood background. Meeting all of Michael's neighbors and friends along the way was a fun bonus also. What a great combination to make for a fantastic afternoon! Our guide, Michael, was extremely knowledgeable and very obviously loves his neighborhood. He was very courteous and kind and tried to see to everyone's needs. I will recommend this tour to everyone I meet.
