We were there on a rainy November day in the 50 degree range. This was a big problem because the inside windows were completely fogged up with the heat on & everyone in the trolley. The driver/guide gave us papers to use to swipe the window, but really it was a loosing battle. Visibility was poor because most people gave up on trying to keep up on the windows, so you could only really see out of your own little one. The tour was interesting and highlights the best of Fredericksburg. It was our springboard for going to see certain places, of our choosing, on our own [the trolley makes no stops]. Our guide was knowledgable and thorough, however the trolley doing the tour spent quite a bit longer at certain stops which made us wonder what they were learning. We have seen this tour advertised as one of the best things to do with kids in Virginia, however it was pretty boring for my 4 year old. He enjoyed the trolley ride but being near an hour an a half he was pretty fidgety at the end! I would definitely recommend this tour, however unless your kids, at any age, are really into history and enjoy drive by tours of historic buildings, I wouldn't include them.

Awesome! This was a work team event and everyone has been in this area for a number of years but never went on the Trolley Tour. Our driver/host, John was great! We all enjoyed it and learned some interesting facts about Fredericksburg. Thanks!

We enjoyed the trolley tour very much. The driver tour guide was very informative - lots of interesting details about the persons who lived in the homes on the tour. He had a good sense of humor and very quick-witted. He was a wealth of knowledge about Fredericksburg history. I would definitely recommend the trolley tour to others - and would love to take it again myself.

My wife and I drove down from MD with another couple. We thought the tour was outstanding. The tour guide, Kathy, was terrific. Our friends had visited the area several times but they learned and saw things that they had never experienced before. A real value.

Very interesting tour. Tour guide was interesting, funny and personable. Many facts and stories that history books do not tell you. Guide was helpful and pointed out small details that unless specified would not be noticed or you would know what they actually were.

Our group of 4 met from out-of-town to spend the afternoon in Old Town Fredericksburg and took the trolley tour to avoid having to walk too much. The driver/director was very pleasant and knowledgeable and we had a very pleasant afternoon. We would highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I have lived in the Fredericksburg area for 6 years and never realized all of the history still alive in the city! We decide to take the tour with my parents, who are visiting from Michigan. The tour guide was extremely informative and was able to answer everyones questions. I would definately recommend the tour to anyone visiting or living in this area. A+

| We all absolutely loved the Trolley tour. Its our daughters senior year at Mary Washington and we all wish we taken the tour her very first year there. It was a very interesting and informative tour, our guide Kathy was awesome, she really did a great job. I will highly recommend this to anyone visiting Fredericksburg and you may already have a special rate for college students but if not I would suggest it and think all incoming freshmen should take the tour. It is a huge plus for your area to have such a tremendous asset.
Thanks
