Fredericksburg Historic Trolley Tour

We were ages 9 to 42 and were all very engaged by the guide and the knowlege of history. Fredericksburg is a great place to visit.

This is a great activity to get an overview of the city with very interesting points of interest as well as learning much of the historical sites. Did this with our kids several years ago and decided it was time to do it again. Loved all the information that was shared by the guide and it helped us decide what other things to do and go back to see. It was nice that there was also a discount at some of the other places after going on the tour. I would highly recommend it to local friends and visiting friends.

Our tour guide (John) did an outstanding job pointing out the historic buildings, locations and historic personnel associated to them along the tour route. The tour overall was very fascinating and left me thirsty for more information as to many of the locations pointed out. My family is looking forward to future trips to the Fredericksburg area to visit many of these locations for an up and close look.

This was our first time visiting the historical area of Fredericksburg. I would recomend the tour as a quick way to get a feel for the historical area. The guide was very good.

Although we had visited the area once before, we were very glad that we decided to return to the area and take the trolley tour during this time. The trolley driver was a friendly and funny individual who made each of us from various states feel welcome. He was very knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy sharing the history of the area with us. Our family would definitely encourage visitors to begin with the trolley tour, as it provides you with a general idea of the city's layout and gives you an opportunity to learn where interesting sites are that you may wish to visit while in the area.

This tour was very interesting and educational. I learned a lot things I didn't know before. As many times that I have road through Fredricksburg, I have never known about the things I have learned. I would highly recomend this tour. By the way - the tour guide was great!

Great way to spend an afternoon learning great history. We were surprised just how much we didn't know about our hometown! The perfect thing to do before you set out to see the historical sights in Fredericksburg . You will understand and learn more from your further sightseeing because of the information the extremely knowledgeable tour guide ( in our case John) shared with you. We all had a great tour - thanks again for such a great outing!

very knowledgeble guide who was very personable and responsive- -he did speak a little fast but responded to each request for clarification. Route was great with lots of individual details. Highly recommend this tour.

I would recommend the tour just so that people can get a feel for the shear historic value -- everyone always thinks of Vicksburg or Atlanta or Gettysburg -- if for nothing else than A LOT of action and blood was shed right here !
