We have seen the trolley bus numerous times in Fredericksburg. My parents live in South Carolina and we decided this trip to do something different. The activity brought back memories of history from school and my 6 year-old Grand-daughter enjoyed it greatly. |

This trolley tour is everything you expect from a tour of an historic town like Fredericksburg. Our tour guide, Kathy, was overflowing with facts about the town and presented them in an interesting and fun way. There is so much to see in Fredericksburg that this tour provides the opportunity to really understand its historic value and beauty. It's a great way to start a visit there to orient yourself to the area and alert you to places you may want to explore further if you have the time. Even as a past resident of the Fredericksburg area, I hadn't seen or known a great deal that was included in this tour. The enthusiasm of the tour guide and the essence of Fredericksburg made our tour phenomenal. The tour is about 1 hr 15 min long and, while I enjoyed every minute of it, it may be a little long for children. We sat in the second to last row and could see everything very well. This trolley tour is definately worth the money and the time. |

The tour provided a lot of facts about Fredericksburg in a very interesting and informative manner. The tour driver was very knowledgeable about the area and he kept up a lively dialogue. The tour was 75 minutes long but it seemed to go so much faster. The tour gives a good overview of the city and gives a good starting point to begin exploring all the sights Fredericksburg has to offer. My family highly recommends this tour . It is well worth the money. |

Informative and entertaining at the same time. John "The Baptist" was our tour guide and made it a very pleasant experience. Our cousins from Georgia have a lot more respect for the Commonwealth than they did before. Great job John! |

We had visitors from Indiana and tried to find a good activity to provide overview of Fredericksburg, VA. The Trolley Tour was a great event. The Trolley Guide - John, was very knowledgeable and provided an entertaining and informative tour. Both our guests and their hosts had a great day. We have alreday made a recommendation of this venue to several of our neighbors. |

I am beginning to have an interest in the War Between the States. I had read a little about Fredericksburg. When a trip I was planning would bring me to visit family in Fredericksburg, I wanted to be sure to include the battle sites. The trolley tour was recommended to me as an easy way to see them.
I was travelling with a friend from home who also has a new interest in seeing battle sites. Our travel plans covered a wide variety of places and interests. She had never seen Williamsburg. I had an old friend to visit in Richmond.
We didn't know exactly what the trolley tour would cover. It was very interesting and well done. I can see now that it was simply an introduction for individuals to return and take their time to go to museums and visit sites on their own. Even with that understanding, it didn't fulfill the expectation we had before taking the tour.
I can't say that it is your fault. The problem is that we had only a short afternoon in Fredericksburg and doubt there will be an opportunity to return very soon.
On the other hand, we learned other things that were very interesting. The trolley driver-guide was a good speaker. |
