Heidi, the tour guide, was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the extensive history of Fredericksburg. This trolley tour was a wonderful overview of the area, which gave a good introduction for other sightseeing. |

I am beginning to have an interest in the War Between the States. I had read a little about Fredericksburg. When a trip I was planning would bring me to visit family in Fredericksburg, I wanted to be sure to include the battle sites. The trolley tour was recommended to me as an easy way to see them.
I was travelling with a friend from home who also has a new interest in seeing battle sites. Our travel plans covered a wide variety of places and interests. She had never seen Williamsburg. I had an old friend to visit in Richmond.
We didn't know exactly what the trolley tour would cover. It was very interesting and well done. I can see now that it was simply an introduction for individuals to return and take their time to go to museums and visit sites on their own. Even with that understanding, it didn't fulfill the expectation we had before taking the tour.
I can't say that it is your fault. The problem is that we had only a short afternoon in Fredericksburg and doubt there will be an opportunity to return very soon.
On the other hand, we learned other things that were very interesting. The trolley driver-guide was a good speaker. |

The trolley tour takes you many places and helped me to identify things I was interested in going back to see. Great overview of historical buildings and sites in the area. |

What a great asset to Fredericksburg, VA the Trolley Tours of Fredericksburg provides! My family and I (includes my husband and me along with our children ages 6,8,12 and 14) all thought the ride was fun and very informative. It brought the town to life for us and made us want to go back and explore so much of the history that makes up Fredericksburg's past.
The length of the tour (75 minutes) was just right as the younger ones were ready to stretch their legs by then.
The trolley's wooden seats are a bit uncomfortable.
But overall, it's a highly recommended the tour. |

We treat every guest that visits us to this tour as their first introdution to Fredericksburg. It is an informative and fun tour that will give you an overview of the city's history. During this tour, you will ride through the city, past old homes and historic establishments all the while listening to facts about each location. The tour begins at the corner of Caroline and Charlotte Streets with a brief history of the establishment of the city. From there, you will be taken on a tour of American history, as many of America's founding fathers resided here and visited here. The tour is an excellant way to begin your time in Fredericksburg. We find that it gives our guests an idea of all the city has to offer. From there, they can decide which area they want to explore in more detail. This is indeed a must see for all who visit Fredericksburg! |

When my husband's father came to town from New York last week, we were looking for an exciting way to show him around Fredericksburg. We found it! Our driver, George, was friendly, knowlegable, and entertaining. He really brought out all the interesting sights in Old Town that you would miss if you were on a self-guided tour. The coupons for local restaurants highlighted during the tour made for a perfect completion to a wonderful day. |

The trolley ride enhanced our desire to learn more about certain people/events and helped narrow down our weekend activities. We'll be visiting Fredericksburg again b/c there is too much to do in a weekend, but having the assistance of a tour guide when we first got into town definitely helped. |

The Trolley Tour is one of the best ways to visit the historical sites in Fredericksburg. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and sometimes comical. I have lived in the area for over 20 years, and saw places that I didn't know existed and gained some historical knowledge of the area. I think this is the best way to see what Fredericksburg has to offer, and determine what sites one wants to explore in more detail. |

We were surprised to learn just how historical Fredericksburg is. We were amazed to learn that it has ties to Captain John Smith, John Paul Jones, and many others. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, helpful, and fun. We highly recommend this tour and would repeat it (probably in cooler weather though). |
