| Before I even got to the tour, April the guide was phoning me, as I was lost. (my fault not hers)Then, she gave me a local things to see of Charleston, before we even set off. The tour starts at the Square, winds its way around the North Side of Charleston, through the Old Citadel, College and ending up at a bed and breakfast.
The thing about a walking tour is how your host, captivates the audience. April brought the past alive, and you could really picture the old ghosts as you went past their 'haunts'.
I would recommend young and old for this tour and those from Charleston and beyond.
I will remember this tour and guide for a long long time.
Are you getting it, how much I enjoyed this? |

| April is a great tour guide who is extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. I don't know if it was necessarily worth $16 (being a no-cost for resources tour) but the path took the group through great parts of the old Citadel and CoC campus... very beautiful! |

| The locations and stories on this tour are great -- the College of Charleston campus is very "atmospheric" at night & you will learn quite a bit about the city while you get your goosebumps -- BUT the tour guide is the real draw. April is a natural storyteller with an obvious love for her adopted hometown, and her delivery is sure to send more than one chill down your spine.
I was also lucky enough to go on a very un-Charleston-like COLD night right before the holidays (the locals say it was the slowest week of the tourist year) so the tour group was small, and this allowed April to tailor her presentation to what she saw we would enjoy.
You should not pass up the chance to experience this Fried Green tour!! |

| We had a great time. We got to see some interesting parts of Charleston, that we otherwise would not have seen. We were told history, as well as the spooky side of it and the ghosts that are involved with the site. Storyteller very interesting and captured our attention the whole time. |

| This was a great expierence. The tour was a walk through Charleston as the sun went down. Ed Macy is a great storyteller and very knowledgable about the accounts of the ghosts of Charleston. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to hear and see some of the sights of Charleston and about those that still haunt this town. I even bought Ed Macy's books at the city market before I went home. |

| We love ghost tours and take them when we have the chance. We were directed to "Fried Green tours" ghost tours by our innkeeper.
Our tour guide was April. She was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and informative about the history of Charleston and its specter's.
The tour started at 9pm and we were able to see some sights that are normally not toured.
Charleston is truly a beautiful old city and the ghost tour added to its charm.
I would highly recommend this tour and make sure April is your tour guide. |
