Activity Description
Enjoy an exclusive History and Gastronomy lesson in this varied international culinary tour of Brooklyn. Take a trip back in time and around the world to see a part of New York City you probably didn't know existed!

What is included?
A guided tour through Brooklyn's most dynamic areas where you'll sample some of the local cuisines that make the city so unique.

It's been said that "A trip to Brooklyn is like a trip around the world." How true it is.

It's amazing how many people visit New York City and never see Brooklyn.

The neighborhoods on the tour may include among others:

  • Williamsburg, home to many ethnic groups and a thriving art community where you'll be sampling delectable foods from an authentic 1960s era kosher Hasidic deli.
  • DUMBO, where we'll stop at the Jacques Torres chocolate factory, and visit Brooklyn Bridge Park for an excellent view of Manhattan's famous skyline.
  • Sunset Park, featuring a plethora of Latin American food establishments for a picnic style lunch in the park featuring the "Cuban" sandwich. (Indoors during the colder months or in the event of inclement weather)
Unlike other tours, your journey with a knowledgeable native New Yorker will show you the most fascinating areas in the city. Begin in the historic West Village, the past and present home to some of the City's most influential residents, and then venture across the Williamsburg Bridge to Brooklyn, where the main portion of your tour will take place.

Though we will drive to get from one neighborhood to the next, you'll have plenty of time to walk around and take pictures in each area where we stop.

What Is Not Included?
Gratuities for your tour guide, although not required, are always appreciated.
