The Best of Brooklyn Half-Day Food & Culture Tour

My girlfriend and I (it wasn't a date as much as a joint activity) thoroughly enjoyed this tour, which turned out to be a private event, as no-one else had registered. Isaac is a very knowledgeable and down-to-earth guy, who had a lot of interesting things to tell about New York City in general and Brooklyn in particular. The tour proved to be a very good sampler and we will definitely come back to the neighbourhoods we visited for more (in particular Williamsburg and Dumbo). Combining the trip with food is a great way of bringing it all to life and providing some insights into 'normal life' in the areas visited. We'd certainly recommend this tour. Joachim

A small group tour (16 people) which gives you a real "Taste" of Brooklyn while seeing a number of interesting place. The guide was excellent with a good sense of humor and made sure everybody on the tour felt well looked after. The selection of food was varied and in places you wouldn't otherwise find. Plenty of good information makes this an ideal introduction to Brooklyn

Isaac was a fabulous tour guide. In addition to being wonderfully informative, he was clearly focused on ensuring that our whole group had a very special Brooklyn experience. Well done!

Isaac was fantastic. I got much more than I expected from this tour. It was my first time in Brooklyn. Isaac is very knowledgeable, and made every effort to ensure that we were getting the most out of this tour. He took us to wonderful local eateries and shops where the food is made onsite. We got a look at some very interesting ethnic neighborhoods. And because he had time, and it was a beautiful day, we got to go to Coney Island, too, and have hot dogs at the original Nathan's. I had a great time, as did the others on the tour. I highly recommend it!

I recommend this tour. It was on a small bus and some walking which was good because it was unusually warm for May. Laurie our tour guide did a good job explaining and pointing out points of interests. We all enjoyed the different types of food and lots of it!We got to see the beautiful old Carousel,Brooklyn bridge, sunset park, the old Naval shipyard, saw the Statue of Liberty (from the bus) which was fine because Ellis Island was still closed from hurricane Sandy.

We were a bit hindered by the rain, but still a great way to check out Brooklyn. Lots of fun facts about Brooklyn and great selection of foods.

While visiting our daughter, who lives in Brooklyn, we participated in what ended up being a personal tour in our guide's private car. The commentary was lighthearted and informative. The stops for food along the way were a delightful introduction to the ethnic diversity of NYC and Brooklyn in particular.
