| We really enjoyed our day in Brooklyn, seeing and tasting our way round the parts of New York not usually visited by tourists. It was good that we were in a small group (6) as we bonded quite quickly and were able to visit the various small eateries without overwhelming the establishments themselves. I particularly liked the Torres chocolate shop and the kinishes and the chollent and the cuban panini was amazing. It was good to be informed by a native New Yorker who really knew his stuff and weaved the MPV adeptly through the streets. We felt completely relaxed and comfortable the whole time we were with him. After we made our Brooklyn trip ,our son came to join us in New York for two days on his way back to the UK from San Francisco and we enthusiastically told him about all that we had seen - he was so impressed that he hired a bicycle and toured Brooklyn on his own and saw some of the sights that we saw - though of course he didnt have the beneffit of our lovely tour guide or taste the food.
The sights, the sounds and tastes have left a favourable lasting impression. If I am lucky enough to return to New York in the near future I will definitely take another Zerve trip. |

| Isaac does a fantastic job of covering hidden spots of New York. We were very impressed with his knowledge of New York City and its history. I would truly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to see real New York because you will truly leave this city with a great memory. |

| Isaac was a terrific guide! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, food and culture. He answered all of our questions and it was like spending time with an old friend. Even tho we are fairly local (in Jersey) there was still so much to learn and enjoy. We look forward to more tours from this company. May you continue to have many years of success... |

| Well, it was a small group of 7 which was wonderful and since the van was broken we were driven around in a stretch limo!!! Isaac knew his stuff and I should know as I visit nyc about 3 times a month for the last several years and do stuff EVERY TIME!! Getting to Old Williamsburg where the Hadassic Jews live probably wouldn't be done on my own much less finding places where the food was excellent and seeing the views of Manhattan while eating Jacques Torres sweets was great and having cuban sandwiches in a cuban area of Brooklyn where there is a park that gives an ENTIRE view of manhattan was great. Recommend it to new visitors and others who have visited manhattan 50-500 times! You'll see something new!! |

| We had a great time with Isaac, he is enthusiastic and knowledgable and obviously loves New York. The food stops were great, I wish we'd had time to go to one more neighborhood, perhaps Greenpoint. Would have preferred a bus to a limo. |

| Even if you live in New York -- recommend this tour. We are local and went on the tour with a friend in from New Zealand. This is a nice blend of different authentic, ethnic neighborhoods and progressive new Brooklyn (DUMBO) plus a good amount of authentic food from neighborhood establishments that have been around for ages and ages.... a slice of old New York seen through the eyes of the locals. Our tour guide, Isaac, was great -- he knew tons about the area's history, answered questions and gave us an educational tour that was, well, fun. Great views of Manhattan you can only see from vantage points across the river and the combo of Issac driving and a bit of walking made the tour perfect... Go. |

| My group thoroughly enjoyed our Brooklyn tour lead by Issac. I am from New York (born and raised in Brooklyn) but have resided in Florida the last 13 years. The remainder of my group consisted of infrequent visitors to NYC who had never been to Brooklyn. First, I should commend the staff for altering the start time of our tour to accomodate our schedule and even checking up on us with a phone message to make sure our plane arrived timely. Our tour ended up being a private one in a brand new JEEP, both of which were pleasant surprises. Issac is a gracious and knowledgeable guide and knows much about the neighborhoods we visited. The food locations and choices were enjoyed by all. The bonus of starting on the lower east side with a stop at Yonah Schimmel's (the 1st knish store) was great. The variety of the neighborhoods and foods truly help one understand the melting pot nature of New York. We highly recommend the tour and the company. |

| After reading "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn" our book club decided to go on a "field trip".
This culinary tour far surpassed all 9 of our expectations!! Isaac, our tour guide was passionate about the city, it's people and history. We got an exceptional overview of the history and the varied cultures that call Brooklyn home. This gustative tour was filled with the aromas and delicate tastes of genuine pure ethnic "old" home cooking. Our senses thoroughly came alive during this culinary tour via the sights, sounds and through our taste buds. Our last stop was at Sunshine Park where Isaac promised an amazing vista as we kicked back and picnicked on the grass. We were not disappointed! The view was spectacular as well as our pulled-pork sandwiches... it just topped off a day filled with adventure, laughs and genuine enjoyment. Bravo! |

| I purchased this as part of a birthday present for my boyfriend, the only other group with us was another couple our age who had received this as a present from their parents. Isaac was a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, we drove around in his jeep which was perfect for the size and weather, ate so much until we were stuffed, and had an impromptu visit to a wine store for some kosher wine which was a pleasant bonus. All in all, a great way to see Brooklyn and sample unique foods. |
