| This tour was wonderful for two reasons. The first is you get to eat some great food during the tour. The second reason is you also learn about the history and people who live or have lived in the areas that the tour takes you through. Isaac (tour director) was very knowledgeable on Brooklyn and New York (he lives in NY). He was very friendly and accomodating to our questions and needs. I would highly recommend this tour. |

| This was a lot of fun. We got to see a few parts of Brooklyn. Obviously, this is not a comprehensive tour. However, we did get to sample lots of local cuisine. There was enough food for a very satisfying lunch. Our tour guide was very friendly too. My only reservation is that about half of our stops were at Jewish themed restaurants and bakeries. While I enjoyed the food thoroughly, I was expecting a more diverse array. Nonetheless, I did get to sample many foods I never would have eaten otherwise, so I am glad I took the chance. |

| Tour guide was great - knowledgable and friendly. Tour normally uses a bus but used SUV this time. SUV was cramped, people in rear seat could not see well and frequent exiting was difficult.
Food was interesting and nice variety. |

| We all really enjoyed the tour; it is a very good way to learn a lot about Brooklyn, NYC and the history. people and areas. Isaac was a mine of information, very enthusiastic and helpful. He responds to any and all questions, and is very engaging.
One thing that helps is the small size of the group, which is restricted to 12. Unfortunately the normal bus wasn't available and the replacement bus had rather low windows so it was difficult to see all the sights.
Overall we loved learning about Brooklyn and would highly recommend this tour. |

| I took the Brooklyn Food Tour with two friends from Australia and we were lucky enough to have a personal guided tour with Isaac, a Brooklyn native with a wealth of knowledge and a great sense of humour.
We couldnt be happier with the tour.

| Had a really enjoyable and informative day. We had a week in New York and it was great getting away from the usual tourist spots and seeing a very different New York. Jerry and Isaac were great guides - their insights and enthusiasm for this part of New York shone through and made the day. This was a fascinating trip round a bit of New York we would never have thought to visit ourselves, never gets mentioned in the Guidebooks and is well worth a visit. If we ever get the chance to get back to New York we'll definitely head out to Brooklyn and have a further look. |

| My group thoroughly enjoyed our Brooklyn tour lead by Issac. I am from New York (born and raised in Brooklyn) but have resided in Florida the last 13 years. The remainder of my group consisted of infrequent visitors to NYC who had never been to Brooklyn. First, I should commend the staff for altering the start time of our tour to accomodate our schedule and even checking up on us with a phone message to make sure our plane arrived timely. Our tour ended up being a private one in a brand new JEEP, both of which were pleasant surprises. Issac is a gracious and knowledgeable guide and knows much about the neighborhoods we visited. The food locations and choices were enjoyed by all. The bonus of starting on the lower east side with a stop at Yonah Schimmel's (the 1st knish store) was great. The variety of the neighborhoods and foods truly help one understand the melting pot nature of New York. We highly recommend the tour and the company. |

| Well, it was a small group of 7 which was wonderful and since the van was broken we were driven around in a stretch limo!!! Isaac knew his stuff and I should know as I visit nyc about 3 times a month for the last several years and do stuff EVERY TIME!! Getting to Old Williamsburg where the Hadassic Jews live probably wouldn't be done on my own much less finding places where the food was excellent and seeing the views of Manhattan while eating Jacques Torres sweets was great and having cuban sandwiches in a cuban area of Brooklyn where there is a park that gives an ENTIRE view of manhattan was great. Recommend it to new visitors and others who have visited manhattan 50-500 times! You'll see something new!! |

| We booked the tour prior to leaving Australia in April and visited Turkey, Greece, Paris and Frankfurt before arriving in New York 2 days before the tour. Having experienced a diverse range of ethnic cuisines en-route, it was a delight to sample the varied range of food and wine, as well as experience the cultural diversity encountered in Brooklyn.
It was a fabulous tour and Isaac was an excellent host. We enjoyed every moment, and would certainly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York, and wanting to do something totally different. This Brooklyn food tour was very memorable to us and stands out as something that we very much enjoyed taking part in. |
