| After reading "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn" our book club decided to go on a "field trip".
This culinary tour far surpassed all 9 of our expectations!! Isaac, our tour guide was passionate about the city, it's people and history. We got an exceptional overview of the history and the varied cultures that call Brooklyn home. This gustative tour was filled with the aromas and delicate tastes of genuine pure ethnic "old" home cooking. Our senses thoroughly came alive during this culinary tour via the sights, sounds and through our taste buds. Our last stop was at Sunshine Park where Isaac promised an amazing vista as we kicked back and picnicked on the grass. We were not disappointed! The view was spectacular as well as our pulled-pork sandwiches... it just topped off a day filled with adventure, laughs and genuine enjoyment. Bravo! |

| My group thoroughly enjoyed our Brooklyn tour lead by Issac. I am from New York (born and raised in Brooklyn) but have resided in Florida the last 13 years. The remainder of my group consisted of infrequent visitors to NYC who had never been to Brooklyn. First, I should commend the staff for altering the start time of our tour to accomodate our schedule and even checking up on us with a phone message to make sure our plane arrived timely. Our tour ended up being a private one in a brand new JEEP, both of which were pleasant surprises. Issac is a gracious and knowledgeable guide and knows much about the neighborhoods we visited. The food locations and choices were enjoyed by all. The bonus of starting on the lower east side with a stop at Yonah Schimmel's (the 1st knish store) was great. The variety of the neighborhoods and foods truly help one understand the melting pot nature of New York. We highly recommend the tour and the company. |

| Even if you live in New York -- recommend this tour. We are local and went on the tour with a friend in from New Zealand. This is a nice blend of different authentic, ethnic neighborhoods and progressive new Brooklyn (DUMBO) plus a good amount of authentic food from neighborhood establishments that have been around for ages and ages.... a slice of old New York seen through the eyes of the locals. Our tour guide, Isaac, was great -- he knew tons about the area's history, answered questions and gave us an educational tour that was, well, fun. Great views of Manhattan you can only see from vantage points across the river and the combo of Issac driving and a bit of walking made the tour perfect... Go. |

| Isaac does a fantastic job of covering hidden spots of New York. We were very impressed with his knowledge of New York City and its history. I would truly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to see real New York because you will truly leave this city with a great memory. |

| There were just 5 of us for the tour )possibly because it was Labour Day) so we had our own personalised tour with Isaac who friendly and knowledgeable. Because our group was small we got a very personalised service and this made it all the more enjoyable. It picked up on time, offered a friendly and personal view of Brooklyn and its varied cultures. The tour was informative, the food tasty and filling and there were some great photo ops and views of Manhattan from across the river. It was a great way to spend half a day in NYC and dropped us back in Manhattan at the end so we could carry on exploring and shopping. All in all great value and I would definitely recommend it. |

| For me, a good food tour should obviously be about the tastings, but it should also be an introduction to an area or a cuisine, its history and its people, and this tour really ticked all of those boxes. The tastings were delicious and brilliantly chosen, and showed us great places off the beaten track that certainly I wouldn't have found on my own (and I did plenty of research on where and what to eat before I came to NYC!). The tour guide, Isaac, was knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly, local, so he knew lots of fascinating bits of information that you probably wouldn't find even in the best guidebook.
I would recommend the tour even if you aren't a foodie - my mum loved it every bit as much as I did, because pretty much everyone can understand a few great bites, and some beautiful views of both Brooklyn itself, as well as looking back towards Manhattan. |

| We really enjoyed the tour. We were lucky that our group was small and we got a lot of individual attention. Food was good too. |

| We were a small group of tourists (a couple from Australia, a guy from Sweden and a couple from Chile) but Isaac, our tour guide, made everyone feel so comfortable that we all felt as if we were in a group of friends. We drove around Brooklyn in a great van and had the most delicious samples of food from different ethnic groups that have settled there.
The tour was interesting and fun. Our favorite stop was at the chocolate factory. It´s really the most amazing chocolate we´ve ever had. And our guide was just great. If you are going to New York, this experience is a must. |
