| There were just 5 of us for the tour )possibly because it was Labour Day) so we had our own personalised tour with Isaac who friendly and knowledgeable. Because our group was small we got a very personalised service and this made it all the more enjoyable. It picked up on time, offered a friendly and personal view of Brooklyn and its varied cultures. The tour was informative, the food tasty and filling and there were some great photo ops and views of Manhattan from across the river. It was a great way to spend half a day in NYC and dropped us back in Manhattan at the end so we could carry on exploring and shopping. All in all great value and I would definitely recommend it. |

| My girlfriend and I (it wasn't a date as much as a joint activity) thoroughly enjoyed this tour, which turned out to be a private event, as no-one else had registered. Isaac is a very knowledgeable and down-to-earth guy, who had a lot of interesting things to tell about New York City in general and Brooklyn in particular. The tour proved to be a very good sampler and we will definitely come back to the neighbourhoods we visited for more (in particular Williamsburg and Dumbo).
Combining the trip with food is a great way of bringing it all to life and providing some insights into 'normal life' in the areas visited.
We'd certainly recommend this tour.

| For me, a good food tour should obviously be about the tastings, but it should also be an introduction to an area or a cuisine, its history and its people, and this tour really ticked all of those boxes. The tastings were delicious and brilliantly chosen, and showed us great places off the beaten track that certainly I wouldn't have found on my own (and I did plenty of research on where and what to eat before I came to NYC!). The tour guide, Isaac, was knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly, local, so he knew lots of fascinating bits of information that you probably wouldn't find even in the best guidebook.
I would recommend the tour even if you aren't a foodie - my mum loved it every bit as much as I did, because pretty much everyone can understand a few great bites, and some beautiful views of both Brooklyn itself, as well as looking back towards Manhattan. |

| We enjoyed our tour of Brooklyn very much. It was great to see boroughs and back streets that would normally be glossed over. The food was interesting and of a high quality. The Cuban sandwich was really tasty (plus they offered a Fish Sandwich for the Kosher participants too). We had a little mix up in finding the meeting point as someone had stolen the street sign at the busy end, but we found eventually and were still early! |

| This was an intimate trip with just 10 of us plus the tour guide in a minivan. It was a great way to see Brooklyn and gave some excellent photo ops. The food part of the tour was interesting, we went to many places that we would have walked straight passed normally. Although some of the food wasn't to our taste, it was definitely a multi-cultural tour and the food and places visited were truly authentic. The tour guide was knowledgeable of the areas through which we travelled, he was friendly and open to questions.
Overall a great tour. |

| My mom was visiting from Colorado and she really wanted to do a food tour. When I looked on line, I thought the Broolyn food and cultural tour sounded like the most interesting one out there and we were thrilled to find out that was the case! The tour takes you from the LES into several diverse Brooklyn neghborhoods. Our favorite stops were the Hassidic Jewish deli and the Jaques Torres Chocolate shop. Our guide was knowledgable and very friendly. I think the only thing we didn't like that we tasted were the cuban pork sandwiches, but we both agreed that it was still a wonderful experience trying them and we wouldn't have changed a thing on the tour! |
