| This tour is highly recommended, as you get to see a bit of Brooklyn and taste some good food while doing it. Unlike the usual walking tour, this one is done by jeep (or bus) with a reasonable amount of walking included, and you get to see some ethnic neighborhoods up close. They also include a brief stop in the Lower East Side of Manhattan at Yonah Schimmels for a knish and some rugeleh, which are outstanding. My only recommendation to the tour operator is that he add in one pizza stop, given that Brooklyn is most famous for it and it is not included in the present itinerary.

Well, it was a small group of 7 which was wonderful and since the van was broken we were driven around in a stretch limo!!! Isaac knew his stuff and I should know as I visit nyc about 3 times a month for the last several years and do stuff EVERY TIME!! Getting to Old Williamsburg where the Hadassic Jews live probably wouldn't be done on my own much less finding places where the food was excellent and seeing the views of Manhattan while eating Jacques Torres sweets was great and having cuban sandwiches in a cuban area of Brooklyn where there is a park that gives an ENTIRE view of manhattan was great. Recommend it to new visitors and others who have visited manhattan 50-500 times! You'll see something new!!

Our guide was very enthusiastic and anxious to please. He was kind, generous and tried hard to make us feel special, and he shared his own culture quite effectively. The problem was in getting a glimpse of the larger history and culture of Brooklyn from early times until today. For that, we were at a loss. Our guide was unable to supply much context, no doubt because for this tour organization, this isn't a priority. If I didn't already known a little about Brooklyn, I certainly would have come away with a skewed idea of the place. We also needed more walking and less eating. Next time, I'll book with a local heritage organization or other non-profit because the quality of the information will be much better -- though not necessarily the tour guide.

Our tour guide, Isaac, is a mile-a-minute encyclopedia and made our tour of Brooklyn a fantastic experience. He took us the fascinating places heaving with history. Don't go for gourmet food, but do go with a mind open to understanding the lives, diets and habits of various immigrant groups. I could have spent a week in his company and come away having learnt more than my history teachers taught me during my entire schooling. Thnks Isaac.

The tour was more than I expected. Isaac was a great tour guide!!!!! Our only down fall was the weather. I brought my two daughters to New York for the first time and we had a ball. My daughter found your tour on the internet and we booked and we were not sorry. We will book with you again and would definitely want Isaac as our guide!!

I enjoyed the Brooklyn food and cultural tour. We visited places we would not have seen ordinarily. There was a range of interesting places and food to taste. Food was delicious! The bus was comfortable and modern and our guide very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and areas we visited. Highly recommend this tour.

Isaac lead our goup of 13 on a fun and filling tour. It was a rainy day but fortunately we had a large bus to keep us out of the rain. The bus came with an on-the-ball driver who navigated the bus safely through many narrow streets. We sampled a variety of different foods and left the tour filling very full. Isaac was wonderful and very informed.

Issac was a wealth of knowledge about Brooklyn and all its areas. It turned out that we got a private tour as no one else signed up for a cold day at the beginning of January. He took us to the usual places and then out to Coney Island too. We enjoyed all the areas he brought us to and the food was really good, too. I've recommended this tour to our friends at home.
