We were excited about the prospect of our Brooklyn food tour and it exceeded our expectations. We met Isaac, our tour guide right near Mario Battali's restaurant Babbo which started the tour on a great food note. We then jumped into our very comfortable "bus" with tinted windows--very Manhattan and got on our way. We stopped off for some ruggalah for our first stop as Passover reduced the kosher options. As we drove through the neighborhoods, Isaac provided us with tons of interesting information about the areas we traveled through truly making the tour more than just food. We then traveled to Brooklyn, visiting a delicious Polish restaurant. Then, through the Williamsburg Hassidic jewish area which is amazingly unique. On to DUMBO, the park beneath the Manhattan bridge and awesome Jaques Torres chocolates. Again, with terrific information provided via Isaac. Lastly, we headed on to the Sunnyside area to indulge in some Cubano sandwiches--experiencing yet another facet of Brooklyn that the typical NY /Manhatten visit does not offer. Everyone in our group, which included visiters from Minnesota, South Africa and a 20 year Brooklyn based NYFD fireman found the tour and especially Isaac as our guide a wonderful experience. |

found this very interesting and because we were a small group relaxed and friendly.I felt that I saw areas that as a tourist I would not have visited on my own . Isaac was extremely helpful and easy to get on with and this made the afternoon a very pleasant and for me informative time. The hours seemed to fly in and I would have no hesitation in recommending to any of my friends |

Tour guide Isaac took us to places that most tourists would never visit. From the world famous Yonah Schimmel knishes in the Lower East Side to the Cuban sandwich in Brooklyn all the food we tasted was as unique (to us) as it was delicious. Apart from the food, Isaac educated us in the local ethnic cultures that exist in Brooklyn and provided insights into how the locals lived. As there were only four of us on the tour it felt more like a group of friends taking a drive than an organised tour. Top marks to Isaac. |

We decided to spend a day of our 4 day trip to NYC, from the UK,on the best of Brooklyn sight seeing and food tour having read rave reviews on Trip advisor. We both thoroughly enjoyed it.It was every bit as special as the reviewa had indicated.
Isaac, our tour guide, really made it for us. He is a really personable chap who passes on his obvious enthusiasm for his city and food culture on.
I would not hesitate to recommend this trip and if we are ever lucky enough to return to NYC we would definately go on another one. |

We had a fantastic day with Issac on the Brooklyn tour. I can't recommend it enough it is brilliant value for money. you would never see these neighbourhoods on a regular tour. Issac's warmth, sense of humor, intelligence and knowledge made it a memorable day for all. More food tours please for next time we come back to New York and make Issac the guide. |

This activity is a must if you're interested in exploring intimate parts of NYC that you don't see if you stick to the usual list of touristy things to do. The food stops were all fantastic, with Isaac who was very knowledgeable (can't stump the guy!), humorous & accommodating - he puts on a first-rate tour! |

We enjoyed ourselves very much on this Brooklyn tour -- got to sample some good Jewish and Hispanic cuisine and visit some very interesting communities that we would not otherwise have known about. Our tour guide was well informed and upbeat. This is the fourth tour I've booked through Zerve, and each time I've been very pleased with the results! |
