Private NYC Jeep Tour: Exploring the Urban Jungle

This tour was really great. Isaac was super friendly and very knowledgeable. We were in town with my parents who have trouble walking long distances. Isaac was able to tailor the tour to fit our needs. This is a fantastic tour for people who have never been to NYC as it gives you a lot of information in a very short time. The vibe of the tour is very casual and it feels like a friend is showing you around (a really knowledgeable friend). We would highly recommend!

A great tour of New York and its surrounding must see areas. We got to see a lot in the 3 hours and enjoyed the enthusiastic and knowledgeable commentary of our tour guide Issac. It was great that it was tailored to suit us on the day. The Jeep was very comfortable and clean. It was too cold to take the top down, but I can imagine that would have added to the experience. Thanks for the effort and sharing so much about your great city. We love NYC!

We requested a two hour tour of Brooklyn only as we have toured Manhattan numerous times. Our guide Isaac was friend, knowledgeable, and did a terrific job of showing us DUMBO, Park Slope, Williamsburg, and little stops along the way such as a bakery and candy factory.

With Isaac as our guide we had a very enjoyable trip through New York - it is amazing what one can see in only two hours! It was great to see New York in a comfortable jeep with a terrific guide - and Isaac helped ensure I got some great photos from spots "regular" tours never take you. Would highly recommend this tour. Our two kids (ages 15/17) enjoyed it too. It is important to remember you get more out of a tour the more questions you ask - if you like interaction rather than a mind-numbing standard tourist spiel - this is the way to go.

I booked this tour for my wife and I whilst on a short break in NYC and wanted something different from the normal Empire State/Times Sq/Statue of Liberty etc, yet not obscure or irrelevant. This tour was exactly what I was looking for and we had a marvelous time. Isaac knew lots of places to see sights from other angles and as a keen amateur photographer I loved this. Isaac, as others have said on here, is superb. Friendly, knowledgeable and interesting - we really enjoyed both his tour and his company. The Jeep was great and though the weather was too cold to take off the roof (a bit of a shame as you see so much more when you look up) Isaac made sure that it didn't impact on our enjoyment. I opted to do a private tour since I wanted to see the sights while catering to my needs, relaxing, and avoiding crowd chaos. I really appreciate Isaac coming out on Christmas morning. He accommodated my hotel pick-up request as well -- called my cell to inform me of his predicted arrival time and when he arrived. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and willing to answer any questions. He took pictures of my group at all the photo op places. Too bad the weather was too cold to have the top down on the Jeep.

This is our second tour with Fun Tours and Isaac. The first was in the convertible and this time was in the jeep. I loved this tour as we could get around the city so easily. Isaac is very knowledgeable about the city and shares this enthusiastically with us. He is a great commentator and has become a wonderful acquaintance when we are searching for information about the city. When we return we are planning on taking the cuisine tour. It was very useful to see and hear about parts of the city we would never have had the courage or knowledge to visit. Our guide was (Issac) was very well informed and enthusiasic to show us a lot about the various local districts. He also took care to tailor our tour to those areas we had not already visited. Overall it was a highlight of our visit!

Myself and 3 gal friends from Seattle decided on the Jeep Tour to start our NYC vacation as an overview, get an idea of where we'd then explore deeper in areas of our interest on our own as the week progressed. I really can't say enough of how Isaac was such a wonderful tour guide, took time to let us out at various points of interest to take pictures and really knew the areas and history. It was a 2 hour tour but he extended it a bit and went out of his way to show us the 'sites'. The jeep was roomy, clean and since it was a nice day, we had the top off, which was fun. He was a great driver, an eloquent and clear speaker and kept it interesting and entertaining, answered all our questions and had great recommendations for the rest of our trip. He's a sincerely nice guy who obviously loves his job and does it exceedingly well (and I've traveled the globe and gone on more tours than you can imagine), well worth the cost of admission! I'd do it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to all. Made our vacation! A+
