Definitely something to try!

I booked the tour as a surprise for my boyfriend, and it was definitely worth it! We live in New York City, but wanted to learn more about the culture and history behind it. Our tour of downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn lasted for about 2 hours, and we enjoyed ourselves in the convertible and nice weather. The tour guide we had, Isaac, was as funny as he was informative. He was eager to teach us all he knew, and carried on a conversation with us throughout the tour. People were constantly checking out the car as we were checking out the sights. The things we learned in the tour were unique and interesting, and we took some fun pictures along the way. It was a memorable experience and we definitely recommend it to our family and friends, as well as anyone who is thinking about taking the tour.

New York At Night - Magical!!!

So glad we found this site as it gave us the opportunity to see a different side of New York at night. We really appreciated the chance of being able to stop and take photos at some of New York's less known views & attractions. We'll always remember being a movie "extra" on Brooklyn Bridge and the "unique" aromas and sounds of Chinatown (Remember the garbage truck Isaac???) (Both of these an unexpected but still fun addition to the tour!!) Thanks Isaac for making our son's 21st birthday and our first visit to New York so special ****A Highly Recommended & Informative tour****

Bought this tour as a gift for family member and wife. They loved the unusual experience. Vintage auto was immaculate, tour excellent. Took in places you could never track down without local knowledge. Isaac, the chaufeur/guide, highly commended for bringing cup cakes as a birthday treat and making the tour unforgetable! Great no hassle booking with Zerve.

Oh-My-Gosh! There were 4 ladies from South Georgia enjoying New York City. This was our first tour. We had the wonderful experience to see New York both during the afternoon and twilight hours in the open-air of a red convertible. It was breath-taking and our guide, Isaac, was even more awesome. Thanks for such a delightful time, great information and caring about over New York experience. We will return and definitely see you again. Your "Old-new, South Georgia Friends"

A very special and memorable tour

My wife and I booked the classic convertible tour for our wedding anniversary. The booking service was very good, and they kept us informed of the weather forecast so that we were able to change the timing to suit. The tour itself was one of the most memorable parts of our stay in NYC: we will never forghet the thrill of driving across the Brooklyn Bridge. Our driver, Isaac, was friendly and well informed, and was able to tailor our route to our specific needs. We were able to cover a lot of signts in lower manhattan, many of which we would have never discovered by ourselves. And relaxing in the back seat, we were able to appreciate the architecture much more, and without breaking our necks! Finally, of course, the car is the star - drawing many admiring glances and comments from passers-by - which added to the overall special feel of the tour. We would definitely take the tour again. Highly recommended.

On the day we had booked the rain was coming down sideways! However, we had a phone call the day before to advise us of the forecast and suggest another day - very impressive! Two days later all was well and we met up with the 70's Chevy and Isaac who was very friendly helpful and informative. We had a very interesting and enjoyable tour and would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting New York city.

Amazing!

We did a Sunday morning tour with Isaac and had the best time ever! It already started with the call from New York Fun Tours early in the morning to provide some final details such as the name and cell phone number of our driver. When we indicated that we were planning on having breakfast at the Cornelia Street Cafe, they were kind enough to inform us that the cafe would not open until 10, so that we had to find another place for breakfast. At their recommendation we went to Grey's Dog Coffee, which provided a very good start of the day. After breakfast, we met Isaac for our tour. The weather was amazing: blue skies, lots of sun, but a bit chilly (end of November....). A perfect day for cruising New York in a red oldtimer convertible! Isaac is a very experienced tour guide with a great sense of humor! He really knows a lot about the city, its buildings and its people. Two in our group were first time visitors and one was a local, but all of us learned a lot! I would definitely recommend this tour to both tourists and locals. There is no better way to see the city than from the back of an oldimer convertible! Great value for money and an unforgettable experience!

The BEST Way To See New York
Thu, Jul 6, 06   10:15 AM parkersj Male 40-49 International Tourist(s) Family Without Children
The convertible tour of New York was one of the highlights of our holiday. From the ease of booking, the phonecalls to our room advising us of weather issues, the convenient meeting place to the content of the tour made it a very special experience. However, to make it even better, the knowledge, experience and manner of our driver, Issac, was outstanding. From the moment he picked us up to the moment he left us he was friendly and full of interesting information which gave us a great insight into the history of New York and it's inhabitants. We would like to extend our thanks to Issac and FunTours of New York for a truly excellent package and would recommend ANYONE to do this. It was so much more personal than sitting on a crowded bus! Thank You Martyn & Sarah-Jane Parker (UK)

My husband and I had taken this tour 3 years ago, and we wanted to share it with our friends this time. The weather was PERFECT for a trip in a convertible. We had the same driver as last time -- Isaac. He is a delight. So knowledgeable about everything we saw -- very thoughtful and caring and seemed to go out of his way to make us comfortable and content. The red convertible is a real treasure. Other people on our NYC trip (a Theatre tour) were quite envious of us for having this great tour.

Excellent and informative way to see New York

We were met on time by the chauffeur, Isaac, who came armed with ice cold bottles of water and a sunny smile! He was very welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic about his city and told us all about it in a relaxed and comfortable manner. HIs knowledge was considerable and he was able to answer all our questions. There was hardly a moment when he wasn't telling us something about the city and its sights. He also knew all the best vantage points and stopped to give us time to take photographs. It was certainly an education and the two and a half hours the trip took flew by all too quickly. All in all, a throughly enjoyable experience - without doubt the highlight of our four days in NYC and we can recommend this to any visitor to the city without hesitation.
