My 22 year old niece and I took the Jeep Tour on our first night to NYC. Isaac was our guide and was very friendly, knowledgable and funny! We had a blast! I would highly recommend this tour, and will even do it again when we return the next time! Especially a good thing to do at the beginning of your trip, so you learn your way around! Thanks Isaac!!!

This is without a doubt a "MUST"!

This is without a doubt a "MUST"! The red convertible was very comfortable - and what a kick to have people - even cops! - on the street yell out their enthusiasm on seeing the vehicle. Isaac is super - he took us in nooks and crannies and provided us with a very informative tour.

not informative or detailed enough for us

First, I would like to start by saying that we really liked Joe as a person. He was a very nice guy. However, when booking the tour we stated we would like to learn history and architecture facts about the areas traveled and I don't feel that Joe had quite the knowledge he should have in relation to these facts. He, of coure, knew where all the neighborhoods were in the city. However, we already knew this as well. As we would ask questions, he knew a few answers, however, many questions were unanswered because of lack of knowledge. I don't believe these questions were difficult to answer if we had an experienced tour guide as I have had in many other cities. At any rate, again, we did really like Joe and he was incredibily kind and friendly, however, I feel that I spent too much money for this tour and really didn't walk away with anything other than what I already knew, other than one or two facts. It was more like riding through neighborhoods that I have already been too but no knowledge was gained. I do think this tour would be better for people who have never been to NYC before, however, if you have been there even a couple times, I would go with a more experienced tour guide next time. It also might be better to wear something a little more appropriate while giving the tours if this is in fact a professional tour company. Again, not trying to complain. We were just a little disappointed at the end because we didn't feel we had our questions answered and there were a lot of not sures. However, again we did like Joe very much as a person and the driver Sam was nice too.

Isaac was very knowledgeable about Brooklyn's history. The first bus driver didnt show up but Isaac made up for it and kept the whole team entertained. The food was very good and just enough not to feel stuffed. I learnt alot and had a good time

My sister and I had a wonderful trip. We took the ride in the jeep to visit all the sights in Manhattan and some in Brooklyn. Our tour guide was fabulous. I cannot say enough about him. Very educated and well versed in guiding us each step of the way. He attended to our every whim and I truely wish to thank him for a wonderful day out! It was superb! I'll do another with him on the Brooklyn dine around and bring more friends. Thank you so very much. Jo and Pat

Disappointed

With all the tour options in NYC, I was hoping this private limo tour would be the highlight of our visit, however, I would NOT do it again or recommend it to friends. Our tour ended a full 30 minutes early (at $100 a half hour, that's no small amount of money) and I felt rushed to get out of the car. There were plenty of sights we could have driven by with our extra time. I did appreciate customer service PRIOR to the tour with personal phone calls confirming the time & pickup details. I also found our guide to be very personable & informative. Overall, the tour left me feeling extremely disappointed and short-changed.

Fantastic Way to See Unvisited Parts of NYC!
Mon, Jul 19  10:15 AM GrandmaA Female 60-69 International Tourist(s) Family Without Children
This activity is worth every dollar, especially if you have Isaac as your tour guide! It was the quickest two hours ever and, yet, we saw so much and were regaled with interesting stories along the way. We visited parts of NYC that the average tourist would miss and learned much history about those areas, in complete comfort to boot! Make sure that you ask for Isaac when booking this tour as he makes it all worthwhile!

Great food with a great guide to Brooklyn
Sun, Jul 18  11:00 AM carolyncarr Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Our group of 4 really enjoyed the tour and the wide variety of food that we had. Isaac is an enthusiastic guy from Brooklyn that knows the area and history. This is our 4th culinary tour and the only one that didn't require a lot of walking as we traveled to each place by bus. That worked great for us since we were there in the heat wave. Only reommendation to improve the tour is to provide a better map as we went the wrong way after we got off the subway.

Great way to see NYC and Brooklyn
Thu, Jun 24  8:15 PM adelebentsen Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
It was a hot and steamy evening in NYC....we started our adventure at the New Museum and on cue our "chariot" arrived. A spiffy, new, pull back the roof, ever so cool, green jeep. Of course my girls (age 15 and 19) jumped right in and Isaac started our tour of NYC (below 34th) and Brooklyn. Isaac kept us totally entertained: with interesting facts about the neighborhoods, installation art in Madison Square Park, notable architecture, local attractions (like the building used for the opening shot of Friends), a little history of NYC and he pointed out a few of his favorite places to eat. All the while, Isaac never was stuck in traffic...we seem to glide through the city. On to Brooklyn....we arrived at our destination just in time to catch some fireworks (not planned but a pleasant surprise)........and we got out of the jeep to enjoy a beautiful view of the NY skyline. Whisking us back to the city....we ended the evening with the best gelato from Grom. We had a great time and it was a wonderful way to start off our vacation. Often when I visit the city, all I ever see is the traffic when I traverse from one end of the city to the other. With the Jeep tour, Isaac was able to show us parts of NYC that I had never seen.....quiet off the beaten path. It was easy to understand why Isaac and so many other people that live in NY love it so much. We had so much fun...I would highly reccommend this adventure.

Wow! Great way to start a NYC vacation!
Tue, Jun 22  1:15 PM mlxcampbell Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Myself and 3 gal friends from Seattle decided on the Jeep Tour to start our NYC vacation as an overview, get an idea of where we'd then explore deeper in areas of our interest on our own as the week progressed. I really can't say enough of how Isaac was such a wonderful tour guide, took time to let us out at various points of interest to take pictures and really knew the areas and history. It was a 2 hour tour but he extended it a bit and went out of his way to show us the 'sites'. The jeep was roomy, clean and since it was a nice day, we had the top off, which was fun. He was a great driver, an eloquent and clear speaker and kept it interesting and entertaining, answered all our questions and had great recommendations for the rest of our trip. He's a sincerely nice guy who obviously loves his job and does it exceedingly well (and I've traveled the globe and gone on more tours than you can imagine), well worth the cost of admission! I'd do it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to all. Made our vacation! A+
