New York Fun Tours ®

The Brooklyn Food and Culture Tour was our first activity on our trip to New York. Our group of four friends joined 18 other food tourists and Isaac, our tour guide, for a fun introduction to several Brooklyn neighborhoods and ethnic foods. We sampled Knishes, rugula, Polish sausage, chocolate, and Cuban sandwiches. The tour included some walking--nothing too strenuous--and some riding in a van. Isaac was an enthusiastic New Yorker, who shared his affection for an exciting city. I think the tour was a great way to start our New York adventure.

Never knew there was such a variety of cultures in Brooklyn . We had a lot of fun, learned so much, and tasted amazing dishes from diverse neighborhoods. The knish from Yonah Shimmel's was delicious!! Our guide (Isaac) was so knowledgeable about all the different areas - the culture, the food, the history. Walking back into Manhattan across the Brooklyn Bridge was a perfect way to end a great tour.

We had a wonderful tour with Isaac! He knows so much about the area and shares interesting details about the neighborhoods, the food, the culture, and the history. The food choices were outstanding - varied and delicious. A great experience; we'd recommend it to anyone.

Our tour guide was very knowledgable. The diverse selection of food delicious and it was very interesting to see the different ethnic neighborhoods.

A small group tour (16 people) which gives you a real "Taste" of Brooklyn while seeing a number of interesting place. The guide was excellent with a good sense of humor and made sure everybody on the tour felt well looked after. The selection of food was varied and in places you wouldn't otherwise find. Plenty of good information makes this an ideal introduction to Brooklyn

What great fun - being chauffeured around lower Manhattan , the Brooklyn Bridge, and into Brooklyn in a convertible is great. Part of the fun is everyone staring at you and wanting to know about the convertible. The driver was excellent and provided interesting detail and information about the history and architecture of the districts we drove through. Driving across the Brooklyn Bridge was a particular highlight. Probably the most fun on a tour I have ever had in NYC

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Having never been to New York before it gave us a good overview of the city and its history. Isaac was a knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining guide who helped us familiarise ourselves with the area, something we found useful in following days. The tour is good value and we would recommend it to anyone; particularly first-time visitors.

We had an awesome time on this tour. We visited places that we would never have thought of going to on our own. Our tour guide knew everything about the areas, the restaurants and their owners. The different dishes we got to taste were a wonderful choice. It really is a great tour and we highly recommend it. The bus was very comfortable, the driver good and the walking part was easy !

A great tour of New York and its surrounding must see areas. We got to see a lot in the 3 hours and enjoyed the enthusiastic and knowledgeable commentary of our tour guide Issac. It was great that it was tailored to suit us on the day. The Jeep was very comfortable and clean. It was too cold to take the top down, but I can imagine that would have added to the experience. Thanks for the effort and sharing so much about your great city. We love NYC!

Was very impressed by Isaac. He rang in the morning to confirm, about 20 minutes prior to say that he may be 5 minutes late, which he wasn't. He was right on time. From the very start, Isaac was considerate and informative. We did the tour on a cold, but beautiful day. He supplied a blanket for those in the back seat, which certainly made the tour more comfortable. Isaac's knowledge was second to none and showed us many areas that we now feel that we know better than what a normal tourist would. Isaac was very amiable, he happily answered all our questions, but it was the personal touch that really stood out. From personal recommendations on where to eat, where to see live music but also taking into consideration that we may like to do whilst in NYC. Just so very thoughtful. If you want to do more than just scratch the surface whilst in NYC, definitely do this! We did this on our second day of a three week trip, and probably covered in a few hours what we would have covered in 2 days, but in way more detail than we ever would have known ourselves. Oh and of course the car was very, very cool. An awesome way to take in the city, chatting with a local and looking good even though your jet lagged! Thanks Isaac! We had a brilliant time. I BROUGHT MY FAMILY TO NYC FOR SPRINGBREAK 2012. ON ORDER TO GET A BETTER "TASTE" OF THE AREA-ITS CULTURES & CUSTOMS, WE DECIDED TO TAKE THIS TOUR. WE FOUND THIS TOUR AS WELL AS THE GUIDE(ISAAC) TO BE QUITE ENTERTAINING & KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE AREA. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR TO SOMEONE WANTING TO GET A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE OF THE AREA. ON THIS TOUR YOU TRAVEL TO MANY AREAS TO SEE, TASTE, & LEARN OF THE DIFFERENT ETHNIC GROUPS AND GAIN A BETTER APPRECIATION OF THE DIFFERENT CULTURES. AFTER OUR TOUR, WE NOW KNOW PLACES WE WANT TO GO BACK TO HAVE MORE TIME TO ENJOY! WHAT A GREAT WAY TO SPEND 1/2 A DAY IN NYC!

Our guide, Isaac, was very knowledgeable about the food, history and culture of the sites visited. He and driver Jimmy made the tour fun, informative and relaxed. Excellent value. We recommend it as a great way get a taste of Brooklyn.

We booked this tour after reading reviews on trip advisor. The tour was expensive but worth every penny. We had a group of 7 - 3 adults and 4 teenagers. Our tour guide was Laurie, she was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a great photographer. We toured NYC and stopped at a few locations to walk around and take pictures. We travelled at our speed, we were never rushed and got to enjoy many sites and eat some street food. Since this was our first trip to NYC we really didn't know what to expect. Laurie gave us recommendations on getting around NYC, restaurants, shopping etc. We started our tour in Manhattan or uptown and ended at a fabulous restaurant in SoHo. It was a great way to start our NYC vacation and we would all recommend this tour.

Great tour of so much of Brooklyn. Tour guide, Isaac, was so informative. Interesting food, lots of info about history and architecture ... tons of factoids. Well paced. Highly recommended. The drive was fascinating, lots of great photo ops. Great variety of food to try (and sitting to try most of it). Brooklyn is a big place and I got to see and learn about so much. Pacing was perfect, neither slow nor rushed.
