| I came across the tour by searching on-line and took a chance and made the reservation. When I made the reservation, I requested Isaac basis what I had read. We arrived late in NYC but Isaac was so accommodating. We showed Isaac our itinerary from the group we were with and Isaac adjusted his itinerary to show us other locations. Isaac made the tour very enjoyable and he was so knowledgeable. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. | ||||||

| We took the 3 hr. tour of all of NYC with Issiac as part of our 50th celebration of our anniversary with our three children & their spouses. We live in Austin, TX & have celebrated other anniversaries here. The tour was great and Issiac was very informative: historically & currently. Our favorite places we visited with him were the building next to the 9/11 Recovery Center (which we had not visited before) and the seaport village where we could see the three bridges at night and the area close to The River City Cafe where we could look back at NYC's skyline at night. Since our son-in-law is Irish, we were glad to visit the Irish village, also. The weather was 8 degrees & the wind was blowing madly that night & he took us into a coffee house to get hot drinks. Issiac & the limo greeted us in front of our hotel which was a great convenience! Thanks, NY Fun Tours! | ||||||

| We booked our tour in advance of arriving in New York, through looking on the New York internet sites. We kept it as a surprise from our two girls aged 23 and 16, and surprised they were, as were we! We were picked up from our hotel in a lovely limo by a very couteous driver (we can't remember his name) and were accompanied soon after by our personal tour guide, Isaac. He was a truely excellent guide, witty, funny, very knowledgeable of New York and a native of the region (which helps a good deal). He mapped out a really good itinerary for us, and included in it the two area we really wanted to see, Ground Zero and the Brooklyn Bridge. He took us to many other places, which we would certainly not have seen on our own, and which were very interesting and he gave us some useful background on their importance. Having your own personal tour guide on a one to one is excellent, and Isaac was always ready to answer any questions we had, as well as to impart his own local knowledge on the areas we visited. All in all the experience was very pleasurable and we would highly recommend this trip to anyone who has never been to New York before. We would also recommend taking the tour early on in your holiday, as we did, to take full advantage of the remaining time you have, to revisit areas of particular interest which were covered in the tour. Finally, we would like to say a big thankyou to Isaac and to our driver for a truly memorable experience of New York. Thankyou from Kevin, Chris, Anna and Lucy. | ||||||

| We felt that although issac was very knowledgeable and friendly,the experience as a whole was hugley dissapointing and certainley not worth the £190 pound it has cost us.As we were first time visitors to new york and therfore not familiar with the district,we would not have booked a tour that was on the doorstep of the hotel virtually and felt that a little information perhaps from yourselves after our booking would of been welcome, letting us know of the proximity of the tour to were we were staying etc,we would certainly of changed it to something a little further afield if possible.Also as the city traffic is so busy the two hours goes very quickly . and it is quite difficult to see much from inside the jeep ,so again it really was for ourselves a poor and expensive choice,one I would not recommend to anyone else. | ||||||

| Our tour guide, Isaac, was fabulous. As it happened, we had a five person 'private' tour in an SUV. Isaac commented that the other part of the group requested same, so there were the 5 of us. Isaac, being Jewish, was so informative when we were at the first 2 stops. Quite an education, above and beyond our expectations. We actually felt as if he were part of 'us' and not the guide. We quite bonded with him. He's very personable and a charming young man. Since I booked the tour, I must compare with other tours I've taken in NY. To be honest, (as you requested), I feel that the cost at approximately $95.00 a person was quite high when you factor in the price of the food. I usually tour when I'm in NY and have enjoyed several tours for approx. $40-45. Of course this didn't include food and I don't think our tastings were that expensive. Of course, they were awesome, but in the long run, economical meals. I would recommend this tour, but tell folks up front that it's more expensive than others. A very special treat, compliments of Isaac, was that he dropped us off very near where our children live which saved us a trip to Manhattan to get the subway back to Brooklyn. We were tired by that time and it was nice to be 'home'. Isaac is certainly an asset to your company. We wish you and yours a very happy holiday. | ||||||

| THIS WAS MY DAUGHTERS AND MY FIRST TRIP TO NEW YORK. I DECIDED TO BOOK THIS TOUR TO GET AQUAINTED WITH THE CITY ON OUR FIRST FULL DAY THERE. OUR TOUR GUIDE, ISSAC WAS GREAT! HE TOOK US OFF THE BEATEN PATH TO SEE AS MUCH OF NEW YORK AS WE COULD IN THREE HOURS TIME. HAD I NOT BEEN ON THE TOUR I WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN ABOUT HALF OF THE PLACES WE VISITED. IT REALLY WAS AWESOME. THE TOUR IS A BIT PRICEY BUT I BELIEVE THAT IT WAS WELL WORTH THE EXPENSE. I WISH WE WOULD HAVE HAD TIME TO TAKE SOME OF THE OTHER TOURS THAT ARE OFFERED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR FOR NEWCOMERS AND THOSE WHO PERHAPS WOULD LIKE TO SEE NEW YORK IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT. I DEFINITELY WILL USE THE SERVICE AGAIN! | ||||||

| We've been welcomed by a guide. This person is in love with New York, full of great advices, very enthousiastic. The visit of new york, with some walks in Greenwich Village, Little Italy, Chinatown, over the Brooklin bridge was a dream come true. The guide, i don't remember his name, was an actor. | This was the highlight of our trip to NYC. Strongly recommend doing it as early in your visit as possible as you will be made aware of things you hadn't even thought about and that you would like to do more of. It was kind of like getting a spectrum of colors and then deciding what kind of picture you wanted to paint. Issac was outstanding and perfect for this job. | Isaac picked us up and whisked us off in a living room on wheels, butta leather white seats in a red convertible that was a scene stealer. highly recommend nightime as you're picked up in daylight and the city twinkles around you as it gets darker. Saw parts of lower manhattan and brooklyn that as someone living in NYC for 25+ years I'd never seen. was with a friend and her 13 and 15 year old and a good time was had by all!!! HIGHLY recommend. | ||||||

| A great tour given by a local who knows and loves his city. Issac was wonderful, and gave us a unique view of lower Manhattan most people miss out on. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting New York, even those who think they know the city well. Looking forward to taking other tours from you next time we are in New York. | I purchased this tour for my sister-in-law, her two teenaged daughters, and my three teenaged daughters. My SIL and I have been to New York numerous times, but it was a first-time trip for our girls. We had show tickets and other outings planned, but we really wanted to start out the trip with a bang, and this tour was just the ticket. We kept it as a surprise for the girls. We wanted them to be wowed with some of the "glitz" factor of the city. Having a gleaming white limousine pull up in front of our hotel on Saturday morning to take us for a private three-hour overview of the city made for some excited, giggling teens. Our tour guide, Sam, was personable, informative, and friendly. He was also (my thirteen-year old informed me afterwards) "a hottie." He seemed very proud of his city and not only told us myriad facts about the history and culture, but pointed out some neat shopping places which the girls hit with credit cards blazing the next day. He was a terrific tour guide and I recommend him whole-heartedly. The limo was very clean and the driver was uniformed. We all felt very "uptown." Although the limo will pick you up and drop you at your hotel, when our tour was over, we requested to be dropped in Chinatown for some shopping, and Sam was happy to do that. I only have one complaint about the tour, and that is why this rating is four stars and not five. Our driver conducted some kind of business on his cell phone for the entire tour. Whatever business he was conducting seemed much more interesting and important to him than we were. We all noticed, and it did detract from the "glamour" of the experience. The driver is supposed to open the limo doors, help you in and out of the limo, and pick you up when you make a stop and walk for a few minutes to see some attraction, like the view across to Ellis Island, or the Irish Hunger Memorial. But our driver talked on his cell phone during the entire tour, even if he did open the door -- that phone was glued to his ear. Several times he did not exit the limo when we did, and once he failed to meet us at a rendezvous point at the WTC Ground Zero for about ten minutes. I think that when one pays that much for someone's time for three hours, that their mind should be on their job, not on their own personal business. Our tour guide, Sam, was very attentive and made us feel very special. The driver, whose name escapes me, made us feel as though we were intruding on his private time. If my daughters had not been with us, I would have said something to him about it. But other than that one blot, the experience was first-rate, and I highly recommend it, especially if your children have never been in a chauffeured limousine before. | ||||||

| While visiting our daughter, who lives in Brooklyn, we participated in what ended up being a personal tour in our guide's private car. The commentary was lighthearted and informative. The stops for food along the way were a delightful introduction to the ethnic diversity of NYC and Brooklyn in particular. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed this tour from the first moment to the last. Although we had visited New York City on prior occasions, we had yet to venture into Brooklyn even though it’s only right across the river. After having gone on other Food Tasting Tours in Europe, our expectations were pretty high. Needless to say, we were very pleased. The ethnic diversity and colorful flavors of the city really come alive on this tour. The variety of different foods we got to taste in the various neighborhoods were absolutely delicious and uniquely different. I particularly liked the Cuban sandwich in Sunset Park. At times it felt that we had traveled to another country. Overall, we were glad that we took this tour, as it was well planned out and there was enough food served that lunch was not necessary afterwards. Highly Recommended!!! | ||||||
