Take this tour to get a taste of Brooklyn and see some less common NYC attractions. Props to Isaac, our fantastic guide.

A great way to spend an afternoon!

This tour is highly recommended, as you get to see a bit of Brooklyn and taste some good food while doing it. Unlike the usual walking tour, this one is done by jeep (or bus) with a reasonable amount of walking included, and you get to see some ethnic neighborhoods up close. They also include a brief stop in the Lower East Side of Manhattan at Yonah Schimmels for a knish and some rugeleh, which are outstanding. My only recommendation to the tour operator is that he add in one pizza stop, given that Brooklyn is most famous for it and it is not included in the present itinerary. -Ken

The group consisted of various business people from various parts of the globe. The tour was exciting and informative and the tour guides were accommodating and knew their way around like nobody's business. The two hours flew by and comments were made like: I've been to NY before and have never seen....etc. Besides the ride, the information given was interesting and the trip was energizing. The jeeps were comfortable and spacious and it was like seeing NY for the first time up close.

The group thoroughly enjoyed the excursion. Some of the people who knew New York found themselves awed by some of the sights they didn't know existed. The tour guides were engaging, informative and aimed to please. The time went by so fast they couldn't believe it and they are talking about taking their families on a jeep tour in the near future.

Fantastic

The tour was exactly what we wanted -- "unknown" places with wonderful food. The tour did not take you to the same spot everyone else was going but actually catered to what our group wanted with impromptu stops and tastes. We enjoyed the tour and Isaac the tour guide immensely. Isaac was very knowledgeable and willing to change plans based on our interests. He did an excellent job of making sure that everyone enjoyed the tour as much as he seemed to be giving it.

More than just a food tasting tour
Sun, May 17  11:00 AM mbroadmeadow Male 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
This tour was wonderful for two reasons. The first is you get to eat some great food during the tour. The second reason is you also learn about the history and people who live or have lived in the areas that the tour takes you through. Isaac (tour director) was very knowledgeable on Brooklyn and New York (he lives in NY). He was very friendly and accomodating to our questions and needs. I would highly recommend this tour.

Must be done
Sun, May 10  1:15 PM ARollings Male 50-59 International Tourist(s) Family Without Children
A really unique perspective of New York away from the traditional tourist haunts. Issac was very knowledgeable about the local area around little Italy, Brooklyn and China Town. The car is amazing and as you would expect gets plenty of attention from passers by. We were lucky to get the great weather on the day (even tough alternative arrangements would have been made if it had rained as predicted) We would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting something different and to made to feel special. Well done great service. By the way the meeting point at the cafe serves great coffee Kathy and Allan

Our group was very impressed with our tour guide, not only for his knowledge about the areas and various building, but also the history and the little side notes that really tell a story.

Fantastic Tour!
Mon, Apr 13  10:15 AM davidblants Male 40-49 International Tourist(s) Family With Children
This was a wonderful way to see the bits of NYC, you wouldn't necessarily think of going to. We went on our last day, which was a great way to finish our trip but if you go on your first day, it's a great orientation and you would know to come back after and revisit your favourite locations. Issac took us all over Greenwich Village, SoHo, The Financial District, Little Italy and Chinatown (and more), even over to Brooklyn for fab views of Manhattan. You get loads of admiring looks from people as you drive around and no wonder when you're in a bright red convertible! A definite highlight of our trip. Brilliant!

Extremely worthwhile. An excellent introduction to New York. Our guide Isaac was was knowledgeable and very accomodating to our schedule and to our interests. The tour allowed us to experience neighbourhoods and sites that we would have otherwise missed. We were left with many great ideas for the rest of our visit - and for future visits.
