Friendly, fun, informative!
Fri, Mar 6  10:15 AM tlblock Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
Isaac was our guide. He took me, my 81 year old mother and her 80 year old husband all over Manhattan in a shiny green, sporty, immaculate jeep to celebrate their birthdays. We had a ball. He took down the top so we had a panoramic view of everything he described. Isaac is friendly, easygoing, knowledgeable, flexible (sensitive to the fact that the folks couldn't get out and walk very far) and enthusiastic. He arrived on time and treated us like we were family. We had fun because he had fun. He knew all the history, gossip, and local folk lore. Dropped us off at a fabulous little Italian restaurant in the Village. We learned, we laughed, and we were so glad that we started our visit to the Big Apple with Isaac. Thank you!! We would do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this tour!

An Entertaining Day

I joined the tour as an individual and I had a wonderful time. There were enough congenial other participants to ensure that everyone had chatty company. The tour started promptly and the bus was spacious and comfortable. Isaac clearly is proud of his city and carefully selected all the stops on the tour for their uniqueness and authenticity. We had delicious knishes, Cuban sandwiches, gourmet chocolates, hearty Polish food .... really a good variety. The restaurants knew in advance we were coming and the food arrived as soon as we were seated. I enjoyed Brooklyn so much that I returned the next day. Isaac was very professional and worked hard to make sure everything went smoothly and all his guests were well-cared for. I'll definitely recommend this tour to others, and will probably take it again myself in a year or two.

Does not get any better than this!!!!

Take my advice and book this tour. When the limo pulled up (exactly on time) to pick my family up at the hotel, I could tell by the kids faces and grandma's that this was going to be one good time. The kids ( I have to admit I did too) felt like celebrities!! Eddy, was our driver and Sam, was our tour guide who sat in the back with us. The next time we are in NYC we are going to book 6 hours instead of 3. Sam was so informative and made sure we were comfortable and had refreshments for us. Isaac, (he is the boss) take good care of Eddy and Sam, they both are gems and make the difference between an OK tour and a FABULOUS one!!!!!! Eddy thanks for staying with grandma while we were out looking around with Sam.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Our Guide was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about NYC, and was very relaxed!! He didn't rush through the tour, and had great recommendations for us for dinner/sightseeing, etc!! Thanks again for a great tour!

I booked this tour as a surprise for my mother on our recent trip to New York. It was her first time in New York and my 8th so I wanted to find something that would interest us both, and this really did. My mother's face as she rounded the corner to see the car we would be travelling in was priceless. And Isaac deserves huge praise for being the perfect host, showing us sights that we would otherwise have missed. I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone wanting something a little bit more personal than many other tours on offer ... and it's a great feeling cruising around Greenwich Village and SoHo and watching the heads turn to look at the beautiful car! Only tip - if you are planning to do this tour during the autumn months, it can get chilly in the car, so take a hat!

Awesome Tour - Highly Recommend

This is the best way to see NYC as far as were concerned. My husband & I spent 4-days in town recently and booked the "red convertible". The tour was just awesome and so was the tour guide Issac. He gave us some interesting historical facts about Lower Manhatten and surrounding area. He accomodated us as we wanted and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. He stopped and gave us breaks and let us take great pictures. He even remembered my birthday and brought along a treat. We could have never seen this much on our own. The ride across Brooklyn Bridge was exciting and everything thing was just the best. Issac was very professional, fun and informative. Hudson River views were great. We ended up in the West Village and had lunch at a neat little cafe. We did not want to leave-- it was a great way to see NYC. I highly recommend it for couples of any age, family or friends.

Our group was very impressed with our tour guide, not only for his knowledge about the areas and various building, but also the history and the little side notes that really tell a story.

We were disappointed when our tour was postponed by a week due to unseasonably wet weather. However, when we did take the tour it was a fabulously sunny day and we had one of the best experiences we have ever had! You feel really special driving with the top down and the car gets a brilliant reaction. We have seen a lot in New York having visited before; but Isaac, the driver, showed us a couple of places we never even knew existed (The Irish Hunger Memorial and Battery Park City) - both well worth a look. These were the highlights of the trip for us as they were so unexpected. We also enjoyed the trip over the Brooklyn Bridge and the tour around Brooklyn Heights. This is a nice touch. This is highly recommended if you want a tour of Lower Manhattan in style!! It's certainly the most original tour available.

Great way to see Brooklyn
Tue, Apr 7  11:00 AM sunnyskies Female 30-39 International Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
This was an intimate trip with just 10 of us plus the tour guide in a minivan. It was a great way to see Brooklyn and gave some excellent photo ops. The food part of the tour was interesting, we went to many places that we would have walked straight passed normally. Although some of the food wasn't to our taste, it was definitely a multi-cultural tour and the food and places visited were truly authentic. The tour guide was knowledgeable of the areas through which we travelled, he was friendly and open to questions. Overall a great tour.

We felt as if we could slow down, speed up or stop and get out. Isaac knew so many facts and figures, took us down back streets and genuinely wanted us to have a great time. This was a surprise for my boyfriend and he was delighted. We have told many people about our experience. Thank you

Fantastic - thoroughly worthwhile

We thought this was a great worthwhile tour. During our time in NY we travelled on all modes of transportation - helicopter/subway/cab/boat. Because this was unique it drew attention from people on the street and was a great way to see the city. We were lucky enough to be collected from our hotel in midtown which is not the preferable collection point due to traffic however we believe that it is key to take a tour through the central area where you can then fully experience the whole NY scene. Highly recommended.

Wonderful way to see New York
Sun, Jun 28  8:15 PM sturrock Female 40-49 International Tourist(s) Family With Children
With Isaac as our guide we had a very enjoyable trip through New York - it is amazing what one can see in only two hours! It was great to see New York in a comfortable jeep with a terrific guide - and Isaac helped ensure I got some great photos from spots "regular" tours never take you. Would highly recommend this tour. Our two kids (ages 15/17) enjoyed it too. It is important to remember you get more out of a tour the more questions you ask - if you like interaction rather than a mind-numbing standard tourist spiel - this is the way to go.

Really enjoyed the day, the tour was very informative, the guide was very pleasant, and knew New York like the back of his hand. The only down side was that we had to get a cab to the other end of Manhattan, maybe it would be a good ideal to collect customers from their hotel. Ideal way though to see New York, something different which will always stay in your mind. Many thanks for the experince!!! Steve Jackson England

UNIQUE & FUN WAY TO SEE LOWER MANHATTAN!
Fri, Jul 17  6:30 PM SPILETIC Female Unspecified Domestic Tourist(s) Unspecified
A PRIVATE TOUR is the only way to see NEW YORK. It was a wonderful way to see Lower Manhattan...My husband, Twelve Year old son, and I enjoyed being driven around in this eye-turning CLASSIC RED CONVERTIBLE with the top down! Our driver Isaac was a TRUE New Yorker and showed us many things we would have missed... (things off the beaten pass, also recommended restaurants ). Isaac was friendly and knowledgeable with neat interesting facts and history about New York. Bill at Fun Tours was also accommodating...this is the only tour company that I found that works with you and your schedule...They scheduled a Friday early evening tour for me, even though it was not available. They also worked with me to push the time back a bit so it did not interfere with other plans we had made after the fact. Zerve's booking agents were also very helpful in my reschedule. Arturos Pizzaria in Greenwich Village for Coal Oven Pizza is a must...Isaac even dropped us off after our tour so we could have dinner!
