Fantastic - thoroughly worthwhile

| We thought this was a great worthwhile tour. During our time in NY we travelled on all modes of transportation - helicopter/subway/cab/boat. Because this was unique it drew attention from people on the street and was a great way to see the city. We were lucky enough to be collected from our hotel in midtown which is not the preferable collection point due to traffic however we believe that it is key to take a tour through the central area where you can then fully experience the whole NY scene. Highly recommended. | ||||||

| This is absolutely a great way to see New York! You feel like a film star, as you are certainly the centre of attention in the limo - every time it stops, people gawp to see who gets out... really! The places you get to see on the tour are interesting and a nice mixture of the regular sites and the lesser known ones. There is a good mixture of walking and driving, so you don't feel too lazy. One thing I hadn't realiized from the brochure is that there is a driver and a guide - they are not one and the same, which of course is great. Isaac is an enthusiastic and entertaining guide - a real New Yorker! Seeing NY from the eyes of someone who lives there is very special. My tour party was interesting as we were a mixture of very young and old people, and the old ones did not speak English! Nevertheless, everyone enjoyed the tour, although I would humbly offer 2 suggestions that would have improved it: 1) to establish whether people at a slower pace want to see everything or less things at a more relaxed pace; 2) for the tour guide to leave pauses between the sentences or the main points to allow people to translate. So, what else can I say? Go for it and enjoy! | ||||||

| We had a wonderful tour with a great tour guide. The food was very tasty and our guide was very knowledgeable about all the areas that we visited. I would strongly recommend the tour to everyone. We look forward to our next trip back to New York to tour other areas wth Fun Tours. | ||||||

| While visiting our daughter, who lives in Brooklyn, we participated in what ended up being a personal tour in our guide's private car. The commentary was lighthearted and informative. The stops for food along the way were a delightful introduction to the ethnic diversity of NYC and Brooklyn in particular. | ||||||

| My girlfriend and I (it wasn't a date as much as a joint activity) thoroughly enjoyed this tour, which turned out to be a private event, as no-one else had registered. Isaac is a very knowledgeable and down-to-earth guy, who had a lot of interesting things to tell about New York City in general and Brooklyn in particular. The tour proved to be a very good sampler and we will definitely come back to the neighbourhoods we visited for more (in particular Williamsburg and Dumbo). Combining the trip with food is a great way of bringing it all to life and providing some insights into 'normal life' in the areas visited. We'd certainly recommend this tour. Joachim | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed this tour from the first moment to the last. Although we had visited New York City on prior occasions, we had yet to venture into Brooklyn even though it’s only right across the river. After having gone on other Food Tasting Tours in Europe, our expectations were pretty high. Needless to say, we were very pleased. The ethnic diversity and colorful flavors of the city really come alive on this tour. The variety of different foods we got to taste in the various neighborhoods were absolutely delicious and uniquely different. I particularly liked the Cuban sandwich in Sunset Park. At times it felt that we had traveled to another country. Overall, we were glad that we took this tour, as it was well planned out and there was enough food served that lunch was not necessary afterwards. Highly Recommended!!! | ||||||

| We were vacationing as a family of 5 with some young children in NY for 8 days and included this as part of a well researched intinerary and were very pleased. Our guide and driver were punctual, pleasant , well presented and well informed. The tour was superb and afforded our family the opportunity to fashion a tailor-made ininerary. | If you're a group of first timers in NYC or even if you've been on guided tours of the city before, you'll enjoy this for a full morning or afternoon out. My group did! We were a group of ten friends (aged 38 - 48). Some of us had been to NYC before and some of us had been guided before. Our guide rang us before hand to establish a tailor made itinerary and this worked well. The car, guide and driver were all prompt and well presented. The driver and guide were friendly and helpful. We were in and out of the car quite a lot which suited us but might not suit everyone. We walked a street or two in several neighbourhoods and found some places we loved which we would never have found on our own. All in all, very worthwhile, very informative, very good value for money. It was also great to be picked up at your hotel and dropped back off, in our case, in our new favourite neighbourhood. | ||||||

| Don't be put off by the price - if you have a party of up to 10 people, consider the individual cost and compare it with the cost of the usual bus tours. Throw in your personal guide - and our guide, Isaac, was very helpful and informative - and the luxury and unique thrill of your personal limo, and you have a great way of exploring New York at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. | ||||||

| We all highly appreciated this tour, our 17 year old son as much as we. The driver was pleasant and very knowledgeable, and showed us interesting sights plus a few "secret" places. The day was sunny but cold and windy, we survived thanks to the blankets supplied, but recommend warm clothing. This was on a Sunday morning, which seemed perfect from a traffic point-of-view. A fortnight after coming back to Geneva, we can say this memory stands out as a highlight of our holidays. | ||||||

| We took the tour and Isaac was very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. The only negative thing I would say is that the classic car should be better maintained as far as the interior (white leather was dirty) tires etc ., to really show off its beauty. A little wax goes a long way....The cake was a very nice treat and we enjoyed the tour. | ||||||

| Issac, our tour guide went out of his way to personalize the trip , and provide a most unique experience. Not only was he a terrific driver, but also one of the better tour guides that I have ever encountered. His knowledge of Soho, The Village and in particular the various areas of Brooklyn was totally impressive. Actually, I suggested to him that he should put together his own tour guide book. If your other drivers have as much knowledge and personality, Fun Tours would be very lucky. He made riding and walking around on a hot Sunday afternoon a pleasure. I liked the idea that the trip was personalized so that we saw many things that we wanted to see, and that Issac was well versed in his history of each area. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed driving around lower Manhattan with a very experienced, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable guide. This is a great way to assimilate quickly the various neighbourhoods and would provide many ideas of what to do during the rest of your trip if you booked it as one of the first outings of your visit. We did it as the very last thing, but it has left us with a thirst to return and spend more time in some of the places we saw. | ||||||

| We were met on time by the chauffeur, Isaac, who came armed with ice cold bottles of water and a sunny smile! He was very welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic about his city and told us all about it in a relaxed and comfortable manner. HIs knowledge was considerable and he was able to answer all our questions. There was hardly a moment when he wasn't telling us something about the city and its sights. He also knew all the best vantage points and stopped to give us time to take photographs.It was certainly an education and the two and a half hours the trip took flew by all too quickly. All in all, a throughly enjoyable experience - without doubt the highlight of our four days in NYC and we can recommend this to any visitor to the city without hesitation. | ||||||

| The tour that i had around new york was great, it really made my holiday, the tour guide- issac was really good he had great knowledge and was a really nice guy. i would recommmend this tour to everyone i am very happy with what i got for my money, thank you Issac and Zerve. | ||||||
