Discover the old New York and its history
Thu, Sep 21, 06   10:15 AM Johnhussey Male 50-59 International Tourist(s) Family Without Children
Fisrt-timers in New York and we couldn't have had a better introduction. The car is fantastic and drew admiring glances everywhere we went as well as lots of comments from other drivers. Isaac, our guide, was knowledgable, friendly and patient when answering questions he must get asked daily. The places he took us avoided Uptown and Midtown Manhattan and we realised this is still a group of small neighbourhoods, each with their own distinct personailty. The sights and atmosphere were truly amazing. If you don't know New York, this is THE tour. We loved it. Thanks.

Excellent; Great way to see the city
Mon, Jul 3, 06   10:15 AM marydavek Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
I have been to New York on many occasions and toured it in many ways but this was by far my favorite. Our tour guide, Isaac, was excellent; positive attitude and well mannered. Unfortunately, he was on the phone a lot (that day may have been an exception) even though he was apologetic about it. When one is spending the money he is to do this, he should get more personal attention. Isaac had excellent interpersonal skills, gave us the opportunity to shoot pictures, asked questions to make everyone feel comfortable, and laughed a lot, which we enjoyed. I would highly recommend people work on customizing their tour if they have visited NY before; perhaps skip Manhattan and tour another borough top optimize their sightseeing. Great job!

Middle aged women having fun!
Tue, Jun 20, 06   2:15 PM moby48 Female 50-59 Local Group of Friends
Poor Isaac...picking up four women "of a certain age" and all native New Yorkers! That is a tough audience. We had more fun in our home town than we ever could have anticipated. The car is great. The guide is greater! I would recommend this tour to anyone, from anywhere. If Isaac could pull it off with us, he can do it with anyone. Just a great time...could go on and on, but there is nothing more to be said. Actually look forward to doing it again! Just have to get a group together to enjoy the fun!

My daughter, who is handicapped, and I joined Isaac for a 2 hour ride in this beautiful red classic car on May 29th,2006..........for a whirlwind ride about town. Isaac was such a relaxed, fun and "full of information" guy. He was very accomodating to help out with my disabled daughter and we had requested to see more of Brooklyn, which he was glad to do; we even stopped by the famous Juniors in Brooklyn for take-out cheesecake ( which I highly recommend). All in all - this was money well spent and a real treat. In the summer months - I reccomend the twilight tour. We did the middle of the day in an unexpected heat wave - but Isaac had plenty of water for us.

Great!

I'll keep it short because I would just repeat myself over and over by saying "Great"! Our guide, Isaac, was informative, personable and knowledgeable. My wife and I had so much fun and everybody stares at the red convertible. You feel like a big shot, even though you didn't pay big shot prices! The neighborhood in Greenwich Village where we started and ended our tour has the perfect atmosphere of what we had pictured Greenwich Village to be. My wife and I would rate this a "must" tour if you are coming to New York!

THE ONLY WAY TO TRAVEL!
Wed, May 17, 06   10:15 AM BeeleeTobin Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
Our first trip to NYC and the PERFECT way to see the city on our first morning! Our driver, Issac picked us up outside our hotel and whisked us off for 2 hours of the most enjoyable convertable ride I have ever had! Issac will stop wherever you want to explore. You see the city; get the "lay of the land" for the remainder of your visit. EVERYONE comes up to the car to find out the year, etc. Not too may convertables and old ones at that in the city. HIGHLY recommend this tour, we will do it again to see another area of the city when we return next year.

Fantastic

It was the best thing that we did on our trip to New York- No queuing just picked up on time and the smoothest of rides in style. Issac was great - knowledgeable and humeruos- I felt like a star or royalty waving at passers by ! It was the best way to see the sights and I would recommend it to anyone.

What a way to see the city!!
Sun, Aug 21, 05   8:15 PM crmiller42 Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
Our family of four, including two teen-aged daughters, took the tour on a beautifully warm New York evening. This tour completely overshadows any other tour of its kind. The girls loved riding in the classic convertible. They were not interested in traditional tours, but this was perfect. Our guide, Isaac, was knowledgeable and congenial. We were thankful that the weather cooperated, as the tour would have been canceled. Weather variations are the only draw back to making your reservations - rain dates do not always fit into your time frame in the city. It is worth taking the chance, though. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves classic cars and city sounds.

Thu, Aug 4, 05   1:15 PM jgoerss Male 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
my family enjoyed th experience of our giude and car to see south manhatten. if the weather is good i would strongly recommened the trip. for what you you would spend on a gray line tour for a family you can get a personal and unique tour. our guide was very courteous, helpful and a good driver and gave us plenty of time towalk and see also. he had insight tonew york but could brush up on history questions a bit more. our weather was good but if it rained it wouldn't have beennearly as much fun in a convertable!

As a surprise i booked the Convertible tour for my family during our whistle stop tour of NYC.It was husbands and daughters birthdays. It was a great way to see the real new york( mainly the lower soho greenwhich china town, little italy etc and over to brooklyn) we would never have had got the information from a guide book, that Issac our guide gave us. Issac was a fantastic guide . He was very informative in a casual way so not to make us scared to ask questions.Funny too both the kids really enjoyed it (16/15)He even bought two great cup cakes to celebrate the birthdays- gorg! The car was fab and there was plently of opportuntunies to take lots of photos. I would highly recommend this tour, i could not think of any reason why you would not enjoy it!!. The only thing to bear in mind the weather as we approach autumn/winter may not be always suitable. We had a great sunny day. Thanks Issac we may see you again!

A very special and memorable tour
Tue, Sep 22  5:15 PM PeterShaw Male 40-49 International Tourist(s) Unspecified
My wife and I booked the classic convertible tour for our wedding anniversary. The booking service was very good, and they kept us informed of the weather forecast so that we were able to change the timing to suit. The tour itself was one of the most memorable parts of our stay in NYC: we will never forghet the thrill of driving across the Brooklyn Bridge. Our driver, Isaac, was friendly and well informed, and was able to tailor our route to our specific needs. We were able to cover a lot of signts in lower manhattan, many of which we would have never discovered by ourselves. And relaxing in the back seat, we were able to appreciate the architecture much more, and without breaking our necks! Finally, of course, the car is the star - drawing many admiring glances and comments from passers-by - which added to the overall special feel of the tour. We would definitely take the tour again. Highly recommended.

Guide: Great, Driver Not
Fri, Sep 11  10:15 AM Rippelmeyer Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
I definitely liked the guide, Sam, but the driver was rude, unfriendly, late, and didn't listen to the guide. In addition, nine is too many for the limo. Seven was better. Also, we needed a bathroom stop where we could be faster...It took forever for the nine of us to use the "one holer"...It was cold and rainy and cramped in the limo...We would have liked for there to be champagne at the beginning...We definitely felt that we would not recommend this trip...It would have been helpful to have some "skylights" in the limo to see...The windows were fogged the whole time and we had to manually wipe them off. The temp took forever to kick in and we froze then were too hot...I sound "complainy" but I spent a fortune for this and felt that it was subpar...I will be coming in November with a group and wanted to do this, but now will not bother...It sounded good but was a huge disappointment. We really liked the guide, Sam...he was the one bright spot in the day...He was knowledgable, friendly, and courteous. Thanks, SAM!

We enjoyed our tour and were especially surprised at the high quality of the food provided. I definately would not eat before the trip - more food is included than your might think. I would also take a blanket for the final picnic. The park is lovely and the view is unequaled, but the grass isn't always litter-free and a blanket would be advised.

The perfect way to see New York!
Fri, Sep 4  10:15 AM SaraMullett Female 40-49 International Tourist(s) Family Without Children
I booked this excursion as a Birthday present for my Mother and Daughter, and it was very successful, as it is an experience that they will never forget! I was a little concerned that it all ran smoothly, as I was not actually going to be there, but I needn't have worried. Everything was fine, and they had a fabulous time. Many thanks to Isaac, who bought them both a cup-cake! Sara from England.
