| For me, a good food tour should obviously be about the tastings, but it should also be an introduction to an area or a cuisine, its history and its people, and this tour really ticked all of those boxes. The tastings were delicious and brilliantly chosen, and showed us great places off the beaten track that certainly I wouldn't have found on my own (and I did plenty of research on where and what to eat before I came to NYC!). The tour guide, Isaac, was knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly, local, so he knew lots of fascinating bits of information that you probably wouldn't find even in the best guidebook. I would recommend the tour even if you aren't a foodie - my mum loved it every bit as much as I did, because pretty much everyone can understand a few great bites, and some beautiful views of both Brooklyn itself, as well as looking back towards Manhattan. | ||||||

| Booked this tour for five of us for my Mum's 60th birthday, and it was amazing!! The limo and tour guide were very prompt, Laurie our tour guide was amazing!! Full of interesting info and was willing to tailor the tour to our requirements. We wanted to see the sites as a couple of our group have never been to the big apple before! I requested to go to the Friends apartments and it wasnt a problem at all, Laurie showed us loads more interesting stuff in the area. We totally felt like we saw everything we wanted to and it was tons of fun. Would definately recommend this tour to anyone! Great fun!! | ||||||

| This was the best decision that I made by booking this tour!!!! Within 2 hours of arriving in New York the first thing we done was go on this tour and it was the right decision as we got to see all sorts of places within the 2 hour tour!!! Our tour guide Isaac was totally great. Very friendly and packed full of information which was really good to listen to. Isaac even got my partner a little cupcake for the tour as it was his birthday which was a great touch. All of our photo opportunities were fab!!! As we would not have seen all the places that we seen if we hadn't have gone on the tour. Well worth the money!!!! A MUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | ||||||

| We were a small group of tourists (a couple from Australia, a guy from Sweden and a couple from Chile) but Isaac, our tour guide, made everyone feel so comfortable that we all felt as if we were in a group of friends. We drove around Brooklyn in a great van and had the most delicious samples of food from different ethnic groups that have settled there. The tour was interesting and fun. Our favorite stop was at the chocolate factory. It´s really the most amazing chocolate we´ve ever had. And our guide was just great. If you are going to New York, this experience is a must. | ||||||

| We spend a week in NYC every year and we have lately been taking some of the specialty "food tours" now available. The Best of Brooklyn tour was the best to date. My wife and I went to the meet-up spot in the Village and were told by Issac, the tour leader, that we were the only signups. Rather than a cancellation, we then got a personal tour with Issac continuously pointing out the dozens of fascinating sights to us as we asked question after question. We stopped for the "world's best knish" at Yonah Kimmel's, fantastic chocolates under the Manhattan Bridge and finished with a Cuban sandwich in Sunset Park.We even got a lesson in the hierarchy of fine scotch from a Hassidic liquor store operator (and the answers to some questions I've wanted to ask about Jewish culture for years). Hearing that we loved Polish food, he headed the Jeep for Greenpoint, pointing out good restaurants as we drove. In sum, we had a lot of fun, Issac was about as good as it gets and this tour made us confident enough to return to Brooklyn on our own several times the rest of the week. (Fabulous Polish food in Greenpoint.) We highly recommend this tour. If you are fortunate to draw Issac as your guide, you will have an informative enjoyable introduction to a number of fascinating neighborhoods, each quite different from Manhattan. | I booked this excursion as a Birthday present for my Mother and Daughter, and it was very successful, as it is an experience that they will never forget! I was a little concerned that it all ran smoothly, as I was not actually going to be there, but I needn't have worried. Everything was fine, and they had a fabulous time. | The best way to discover the Apple from a New-Yorker. Isaac, our guide, was great in all its insider tips and comments. The car was comfy and the night tour was the best option by far. Top notch value for money!!! | ||||||

| Our driver and tour guide were excellent. I have been to Manhattan several times but I learned and saw things on this tour that I had no idea about. Our driver Eddie navigated during bad weather and traffic and got us there on time. Our tour guide, Joe was excellent! Great service, great time, great tour!!! | ||||||

| I've lived in NYC the last 3 years. My parents came from Texas to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They LOVED the convertible tour. The day was sunny, the top was down and they got to stare up at the buildings with ease. Our driver was fantastic. He took us down streets most tourist don't go down and was informative and fun. Bottom line, we enjoyed our tour and will do it again next time friends come to the city. | ||||||

| We don't get to New York often but we had already done the open bus tour and were looking to see a part of NY that we hadn't experienced. Isaac and the convertible provided a great way to experience lower Manhattan. He was a "fount" of information and antic dotes that kept us laughing and asking more questions. If only we had the time to try all the restaurants he recommended! It was great to be envied by everyone on the street. | ||||||
