Great "custom tour" with Fun Tour's Isaac

| My husband and I, along with our three kids (21, 20 and 13), booked a custom/hybrid tour of Manhattan and Brooklyn, hosted by Isaac, with Max the limo driver. What a great day. We saw parts of the city we would never dreamed of exploring otherwise. Isaac directed Max where to go. He got out of the car with us to explore, while the driver drove around and waited for us, making the otherwise impossible obstacle of parking a non-issue. Highlights of the tour included St. Pat's Cathedral, the flatiron building, Greenwich Village, Ground Zero, veiwed from the Winter Garden, DUMBO (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass), which is an ideal area to view both the Manhattan bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge, as well as the Manhattan skyline. We had Knishes, pickled herring, rugelach, and Nathan's hotdogs. We also ate at a great little Polish place in Brooklyn, and some good chocolates at a little shop in DUMBO. We drove through Chinatown and Little Italy, also. Isaac was funny, irreverant and a totally cool dude. He had the perfect personality for a job like his, as it seemed we were on a tour with a friend we'd known all our lives. We came away happy, well-informed and stuffed. This tour is not one of the typical tours offered by Fun Tours. It was a sort of hybrid of the three hour private Manhattan limo tour and the Brooklyn food tour, which is typically done with a group. It was great having Isaac all to ourselves, and he said they may consider adding this tour to their regular line-up. Although it was pretty pricey, having taken up 6 hours of limosine, driver and tour-guide time, it was well worth it for a very enjoyable, relaxed and memorable day. | ||||||

| Our driver and tour guide were excellent. I have been to Manhattan several times but I learned and saw things on this tour that I had no idea about. Our driver Eddie navigated during bad weather and traffic and got us there on time. Our tour guide, Joe was excellent! Great service, great time, great tour!!! | ||||||

| Our guide, Issac, was a knowledgable and entertaining chauffeur. Everywhere we went, we felt like celebrities because of the Red Convertible. I only wish that there was a Red Convertible Tour of Uptown Manhattan! | ||||||

| my daughter and i went on the classic convertible tour and had the best time ! we went all over new york city and were taken places you would never find on your own and actually stopped 4 or 5 times to look a little closer and take pictures= this was our fourth time to new york city and we are telling everyone this is something you need to do= plus everyone waves and hollers out what a great car! | ||||||

| A PRIVATE TOUR is the only way to see NEW YORK. It was a wonderful way to see Lower Manhattan...My husband, Twelve Year old son, and I enjoyed being driven around in this eye-turning CLASSIC RED CONVERTIBLE with the top down! Our driver Isaac was a TRUE New Yorker and showed us many things we would have missed... (things off the beaten pass, also recommended restaurants ). Isaac was friendly and knowledgeable with neat interesting facts and history about New York. Bill at Fun Tours was also accommodating...this is the only tour company that I found that works with you and your schedule...They scheduled a Friday early evening tour for me, even though it was not available. They also worked with me to push the time back a bit so it did not interfere with other plans we had made after the fact. Zerve's booking agents were also very helpful in my reschedule. Arturos Pizzaria in Greenwich Village for Coal Oven Pizza is a must...Isaac even dropped us off after our tour so we could have dinner! | ||||||

| Red Convertable tour of Lower Manhattan with Isacc was fun. He was cheery and full of intresting facts. We stopped a couple of times for some extra photo opps which made the trip that much more fun. I took my two teenage daughters on this trip, they loved it too. I would recommend this trip. | ||||||

| We would never attempt to do all theses places on our own. And we would never get all the insights and history without a great guide as Issac. All the food was great without it being too much. Very enjoyable tour. | ||||||

| This tour is well worth the money in my opinion! Isaac was funny, informative, and took us to many places in NYC that would not be included on a bus tour. The car is amazing and the people on the streets thought so too! I highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting NYC! | ||||||

| The Best of Brooklyn Bus & Food Tasting Tour was definitely the highlight of our recent trip to New York. Our tour guide, Isaac, was excellent and provided us with many insights into Brooklyn, as well as New York City in general. And the foods we sampled were both interesting and delicious. | Isaac was fantastic. I got much more than I expected from this tour. It was my first time in Brooklyn. Isaac is very knowledgeable, and made every effort to ensure that we were getting the most out of this tour. He took us to wonderful local eateries and shops where the food is made onsite. We got a look at some very interesting ethnic neighborhoods. And because he had time, and it was a beautiful day, we got to go to Coney Island, too, and have hot dogs at the original Nathan's. I had a great time, as did the others on the tour. I highly recommend it! | ||||||

| Take my advice and book this tour. When the limo pulled up (exactly on time) to pick my family up at the hotel, I could tell by the kids faces and grandma's that this was going to be one good time. The kids ( I have to admit I did too) felt like celebrities!! Eddy, was our driver and Sam, was our tour guide who sat in the back with us. The next time we are in NYC we are going to book 6 hours instead of 3. Sam was so informative and made sure we were comfortable and had refreshments for us. Isaac, (he is the boss) take good care of Eddy and Sam, they both are gems and make the difference between an OK tour and a FABULOUS one!!!!!! Eddy thanks for staying with grandma while we were out looking around with Sam. | ||||||
