What a fun night!
I highly recommend this tour for anyone of any age. There were 4 people in our group. ages 18,41,44 & 86 (my mother who doesn't walk well, even with a cane). The trip was full of interesting sites for everyone. There are a few stops were we could get out and walk around, Mom choose to stay in the car and the guide entertained her with stories about NYC.
The car is fabulous and causes quite a bit of excitement from the folks on the street.
The price is very reasonable if not cheep for what you get. |

Very informative and entertaining.
We tailored our tour so that it ended in Brooklyn so we could walk across the Bridge.
Great recommendations from our guide about other places to see we would never have found out about otherwise. |

My husband and I could not LOVE this tour more. I have been on several tours but never have I met such a friendly, laid back guide who made me feel like part of his friends/family. The food was sooooo good and you get PLENTY, so don't let that worry stop you. DEFINITELY taking friends on the tour when we come back next year!! |

I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York for the first time. The tour combines sightseeing with informed commentary (on my tour provided by Isaac) and food tasting from 5 different venues (well and truly enough to satisfy even the hungriest person). |

What a wonderful tour - it's absolutely worth every penny, particularly for Isaac's commentary. Of course we signed up for the tour to experience the food - and the food was delicious - but the added bonus was Isaac's knowledge and obvious deep affection for Brooklyn. We learned about culture, architecture, history - honestly, when the tour was over we all agreed that we could have listened to Isaac for a few hours more. He is charming, personable and an excellent teacher and tour director, and we felt the the food took a back seat to what he shared with us. Ah - the food......Polish, Italian, Chocolates and Latin - prepared lovingly and served proudly, and it was all delicious (especially the pizza!!!!!!). Please go on this tour - and tell Isaac the teachers from South Jersey sent you! |

Our guide was so very knowledgeable and gracious. The driver was fantastic, too. The guide called me the evening before to get a clear sense of our group and what we were looking for. He went out of his way to make this time in NYC a day to remember! Every stop we made was enjoyable. We had a unique experience our international student visitors and their principal and teacher will never forget. They can't stop talking about it! |

I wanted a personalized tour for my dad (age 74) and myself, without too much walking. I chose this one, based on the glowing reviews, and because my dad (from Detroit) likes old cars. I originally booked the classic convertible tour, but the weather was very cold, so our tour guide, Isaac, called us the night before to see if we still wanted to go out in the convertible (even with blankets, it might be unpleasant). He offered to reschedule, or take the '64 Cadillac, instead. We gratefully switched to the Cadillac.
Isaac was on schedule, and had bottled water for us, which he ensured was not too cold (being chilly out, he didn't want us to have ice-cold water). He was considerate and thoughtful down to the smallest detail.
The silver '64 Cadillac was in impeccable shape, with gleaming chrome (it looked like it had just been driven off the Barrett-Jackson auction lot!). It was clean, comfortable, roomy, and magnificent, with large windows so we could see the sights. I took several photos through the windows, with minimal glare. Wherever we went, people stared and took photos. At one point, a small crowd actually gathered around the parked car. My dad got a kick out of driving around in "a real car." Isaac is an excellent driver, who knows the streets and how best to navigate them.
We had done a 9-hour sightseeing tour the day before, so Isaac tailored his tour to show us things we hadn't seen (Irish Hunger Memorial, Ghostbusters Fire Station, etc.). He showed us around TriBeCa, SoHo, Greenwich Village, the Seaport, Brooklyn Heights, Chinatown/Little Italy, etc. Isaac's entertaining and personalized commentary complimented the previous tour nicely, with interesting details. There was hardly any factual repetition. We enjoyed hearing about the city and its history from a local, who knows and obviously loves NYC. The pace of the tour was leisurely and easy-going, and Isaac even extended its length, since he had no other bookings.
Isaac excels at his job and epitomizes the very essence of everything that a great tour guide should be. He is extremely accommodating, stopping for bathroom breaks when needed. He is happy to answer questions. He is a wealth of knowledge on local history and architecture. He has an appreciation for and solid knowledge of where to find the tastiest treats around NYC, and can also tell you the places where you should NOT bother eating. Isaac is one of the warmest, friendliest, most charismatic, charming and genuine people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He is kind, considerate, enthusiastic, helpful, intelligent, witty, friendly, flexible, laid back, and a pure delight to be around. He had me laughing almost the entire time.
Isaac dropped us off at Katz's, at my request, and had previously given me subway directions on how to get back to our starting point. I would eagerly book another tour with him "in a New York minute" and definitely plan to do so.

Thanks Isaac we had a great day and loved the tour. I was worried that our son may get bored but he enjoyed every minute especially the chocolate shop. Our walk back over Brooklyn bridge was the perfect end to the day, thanks again. |

Isaac was a charming guide with considerable general knowledge. The tour was well paced, not too big, friendly, showcasing diverse cuisines and substantial tastings, including a generous lunch. My only quibble is that the guide was not a well versed foodie with considerable expertise in this area. However most people were and would be very satisfied with what was offered (just that I happen to be a food writer). |
