Was very impressed by Isaac. He rang in the morning to confirm, about 20 minutes prior to say that he may be 5 minutes late, which he wasn't. He was right on time. From the very start, Isaac was considerate and informative. We did the tour on a cold, but beautiful day. He supplied a blanket for those in the back seat, which certainly made the tour more comfortable.
Isaac's knowledge was second to none and showed us many areas that we now feel that we know better than what a normal tourist would. Isaac was very amiable, he happily answered all our questions, but it was the personal touch that really stood out. From personal recommendations on where to eat, where to see live music but also taking into consideration that we may like to do whilst in NYC. Just so very thoughtful.
If you want to do more than just scratch the surface whilst in NYC, definitely do this! We did this on our second day of a three week trip, and probably covered in a few hours what we would have covered in 2 days, but in way more detail than we ever would have known ourselves.
Oh and of course the car was very, very cool. An awesome way to take in the city, chatting with a local and looking good even though your jet lagged!
Thanks Isaac! We had a brilliant time.

I BROUGHT MY FAMILY TO NYC FOR SPRINGBREAK 2012. ON ORDER TO GET A BETTER "TASTE" OF THE AREA-ITS CULTURES & CUSTOMS, WE DECIDED TO TAKE THIS TOUR. WE FOUND THIS TOUR AS WELL AS THE GUIDE(ISAAC) TO BE QUITE ENTERTAINING & KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE AREA. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR TO SOMEONE WANTING TO GET A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE OF THE AREA. ON THIS TOUR YOU TRAVEL TO MANY AREAS TO SEE, TASTE, & LEARN OF THE DIFFERENT ETHNIC GROUPS AND GAIN A BETTER APPRECIATION OF THE DIFFERENT CULTURES. AFTER OUR TOUR, WE NOW KNOW PLACES WE WANT TO GO BACK TO HAVE MORE TIME TO ENJOY! WHAT A GREAT WAY TO SPEND 1/2 A DAY IN NYC! |

We booked this tour after reading reviews on trip advisor. The tour was expensive but worth every penny. We had a group of 7 - 3 adults and 4 teenagers. Our tour guide was Laurie, she was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a great photographer. We toured NYC and stopped at a few locations to walk around and take pictures. We travelled at our speed, we were never rushed and got to enjoy many sites and eat some street food. Since this was our first trip to NYC we really didn't know what to expect. Laurie gave us recommendations on getting around NYC, restaurants, shopping etc. We started our tour in Manhattan or uptown and ended at a fabulous restaurant in SoHo. It was a great way to start our NYC vacation and we would all recommend this tour. |

Great tour of so much of Brooklyn. Tour guide, Isaac, was so informative. Interesting food, lots of info about history and architecture ... tons of factoids. Well paced. Highly recommended. The drive was fascinating, lots of great photo ops. Great variety of food to try (and sitting to try most of it). Brooklyn is a big place and I got to see and learn about so much. Pacing was perfect, neither slow nor rushed. |

So glad I took this tour. The food stops were wonderful, the people on the tour were friendly (small group of 10). Isaac is so knowledgeable about everything New York and Brooklyn, and he is so caring about the people on the tour. You can tell he loves what he is doing. I highly recommend this tour. |

We requested a two hour tour of Brooklyn only as we have toured Manhattan numerous times. Our guide Isaac was friend, knowledgeable, and did a terrific job of showing us DUMBO, Park Slope, Williamsburg, and little stops along the way such as a bakery and candy factory. |

Our tour guide (Isaac) was nice and well informed, but:
We went on Jan 1, 2012 and some of the shops were not open so we visited several shops in lower Manhattan. We were staying not far from that area. "Brooklyn Tour"
There were only 7 of us so we used an old Cadillac limo for transportation. It was the most uncomfortable transportation possible. Three of us had to face the rear and our "tour" consisted of looking at three other people on the tour. Normally a bus is used that has a driver and the group could get out and walk and tour, we had to find a parking spot for the limo and then literally crawl in and out. Through no fault of the tour company there was one woman from Toronto that refused to let anyone else sit in the only comfortable seat(the front seat) throughout the 4 plus hours of hell. I would not recomend this tour if the bus is not available. We could have taken a two hour hour taxi ride and seen more of Brooklyn for less money and been much more comfortable. DO NOT buy the tickets without the right for a refund if you have to take the old Caddy. |

I opted to do a private tour since I wanted to see the sights while catering to my needs, relaxing, and avoiding crowd chaos. I really appreciate Isaac coming out on Christmas morning. He accommodated my hotel pick-up request as well -- called my cell to inform me of his predicted arrival time and when he arrived. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and willing to answer any questions. He took pictures of my group at all the photo op places. Too bad the weather was too cold to have the top down on the Jeep. |

Isaac our tour guide was great. As he lived in Brooklyn himself for years he knew everything and everybody in Brooklyn. Food was great, we got different tastes of people living in Brooklyn. The only point that was missing was the walk over brooklyn bridge. |

Would highly recommend this tour- our tour guide, Yahnto, was well versed and highly educated in the histroy of New York City, its attractions and its development throughout time. Our driver, Issac was courteous, informative and an excellent driver . They were both an excellent resource for local info. They checked in the evening before and called to make sure that we had arrived safely back-after exploring the city on foot. I appreciate their kindness and would highly-without reservation-recommend them and this tour!!!! Excellent service!!! Thanks so much!! |

I looked at this tour because my 77 year old mother who was with me had broken her ankle last winter and has not regained her walking stamina. It was wonderful! We were able to take the top off the jeep and have great visibility of the buildings our guide Isaac was describing, yet be much more comfortable than in one of the double decker buses. The company and Isaac worked with me to personalize the tour to meet the needs of our group. Isaac changed the order of the tour slightly to accommodate my wish to be dropped off at Fraunces Tavern for lunch to minimize the walking my mom would have to do. We still hit Greenwich, Tribeca, Chinatown, Little Italy, Brooklyn Heights, etc. but he varied the order so we would end downtown rather than in Greenwich. Although my brother has explored NYC extensively, he also greatly enjoyed hearing more of the history of some of the places he had walked through on his own previously. For me it was a great overview of some of the NY neighborhoods I had not previously visited. My mom enjoyed being in a comfortable vehicle (not in a crowd on the subway or a bus) with great visibility and a personalized tour. I would highly recommend these tours! In this day and age where customer service is often non-existent, it was wonderful to go on a tour where the goal was not only to meet our needs but to exceed them! |
