Isaac was our guide. He knows Brooklyn!. This tour was a little history and sightseeing, some architecture, and a food tour all in one. The tour varies, but you'll get to try some of the distinctive foods of Brooklyn (and possibly the East Side), from knishes, pizza, Kielbasa, a Cuban, and even gourmet chocolate! This is a great way to learn about the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and sample some of their food. |

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour in the convertible! What a great way to see the city and the buildings! Our driver, Isaac, was very knowledgeable about the places he took us and New York history. I highly recommend this tour! Money well spent. Thank you for the memory! |

Very much enjoyed the tour. Issac was wery freindly, entertaining and knowledgeable. As a visitor to NY I was excited to see parts of the city that I never knew existed and to have the opportunity to enjoy the culinary delights as well ... a greart day all around. I would recommend the tour to others as it is a day well spent. |

Have taken a number of food tours, and the samples on this one were, by far, the most generous. Tour guide and driver couldn't have been nicer nor more passionate. Great to see sides of the city that are more off-the-beaten-path. |

What great fun - being chauffeured around lower Manhattan , the Brooklyn Bridge, and into Brooklyn in a convertible is great. Part of the fun is everyone staring at you and wanting to know about the convertible.
The driver was excellent and provided interesting detail and information about the history and architecture of the districts we drove through. Driving across the Brooklyn Bridge was a particular highlight. Probably the most fun on a tour I have ever had in NYC |

Isaac our tour guide was great. As he lived in Brooklyn himself for years he knew everything and everybody in Brooklyn. Food was great, we got different tastes of people living in Brooklyn. The only point that was missing was the walk over brooklyn bridge. |

On my first trip to New York I wanted to experience all that I could with a personal touch and discovered the Urban Junge Jeep Tour on the Internet. When I compared the itinerary of the Urban Junge Jeep Tour to the other tours being offered, I felt this was a perfect choice for me. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed having Issac as our personal tour guide as he took us to places of interest other tours did not offer and surpassed by expectations.
Overall, a great adventure!!!!!!

Having done this tour last winter on a whim with some friends and family, we decided to book it once again. As a seasoned traveler I can be a bit demanding at times and the attention to detail is what typically makes the difference and that's certainly with these guys. The itinerary and route of this tour is somewhat off the beaten path so you get to see attractions and places not usually seen as it drives through the bits of historic lower Manhattan in the comfort of a limousine. It was nice to be able to get explore and take photos at your own pace at locations that we would never had seen if we were on one of those countless generic crowded to hilt bus tours. We covered so many different neighborhoods and areas in during our 3 hours together and the time just flew by, however it never felt rushed or hectic. We requested pickup from our hotel and the driver was there on time to pick us up. We decided to end the tour at a restaurant downtown on the recommendation of our guide who was very knowledgeable and obviously loves the job.
My suggestion is to take this tour early on your visit because you'll definitely want to go and spend some time in the neighborhoods like Greenwich Village and SoHo.
All in all a great time once again which I enthusiastically recommend to anybody looking for a truly memorable experience! -Oscar |

A fantastic and original way to start our trip. My third time in NYC but this tour took us to some fantastic little places we would have never found on our own.
Isaac knows his stuff and the time flew by.

My wife and I booked the classic convertible tour for our wedding anniversary. The booking service was very good, and they kept us informed of the weather forecast so that we were able to change the timing to suit.
The tour itself was one of the most memorable parts of our stay in NYC: we will never forghet the thrill of driving across the Brooklyn Bridge. Our driver, Isaac, was friendly and well informed, and was able to tailor our route to our specific needs. We were able to cover a lot of signts in lower manhattan, many of which we would have never discovered by ourselves. And relaxing in the back seat, we were able to appreciate the architecture much more, and without breaking our necks!
Finally, of course, the car is the star - drawing many admiring glances and comments from passers-by - which added to the overall special feel of the tour.
We would definitely take the tour again. Highly recommended. |

A PRIVATE TOUR is the only way to see NEW YORK. It was a wonderful
way to see Lower Manhattan...My husband, Twelve Year old son, and I enjoyed being driven around in this eye-turning CLASSIC RED CONVERTIBLE with the top down!
Our driver Isaac was a TRUE New Yorker and showed us many things we would have missed... (things off the beaten pass, also recommended restaurants ). Isaac was friendly and knowledgeable with neat interesting facts and history about New York. Bill at Fun Tours was also accommodating...this is the only tour company that I found that works with you and your schedule...They scheduled a Friday early evening tour for me, even though it was not available. They also worked with me to push the time back a bit so it did not interfere with other plans we had made after the fact. Zerve's booking agents were also very helpful in my reschedule.
Arturos Pizzaria in Greenwich Village for Coal Oven Pizza is a must...Isaac even dropped us off after our tour so we could have dinner! |
