| This tour is highly recommended, as you get to see a bit of Brooklyn and taste some good food while doing it. Unlike the usual walking tour, this one is done by jeep (or bus) with a reasonable amount of walking included, and you get to see some ethnic neighborhoods up close. They also include a brief stop in the Lower East Side of Manhattan at Yonah Schimmels for a knish and some rugeleh, which are outstanding. My only recommendation to the tour operator is that he add in one pizza stop, given that Brooklyn is most famous for it and it is not included in the present itinerary. -Ken | ||||||

| Well, it was a small group of 7 which was wonderful and since the van was broken we were driven around in a stretch limo!!! Isaac knew his stuff and I should know as I visit nyc about 3 times a month for the last several years and do stuff EVERY TIME!! Getting to Old Williamsburg where the Hadassic Jews live probably wouldn't be done on my own much less finding places where the food was excellent and seeing the views of Manhattan while eating Jacques Torres sweets was great and having cuban sandwiches in a cuban area of Brooklyn where there is a park that gives an ENTIRE view of manhattan was great. Recommend it to new visitors and others who have visited manhattan 50-500 times! You'll see something new!! | ||||||

| Even though it was an extremely hot day in NYC we thoroughly enjoyed it. I took along two teenagers who haven't stopped talking about the experience. Isaac our guide was very helpful and friendly. The only negative - the radio doesn't work and nice music would add tremendously to the overall experience | ||||||

| Our guide was very enthusiastic and anxious to please. He was kind, generous and tried hard to make us feel special, and he shared his own culture quite effectively. The problem was in getting a glimpse of the larger history and culture of Brooklyn from early times until today. For that, we were at a loss. Our guide was unable to supply much context, no doubt because for this tour organization, this isn't a priority. If I didn't already known a little about Brooklyn, I certainly would have come away with a skewed idea of the place. We also needed more walking and less eating. Next time, I'll book with a local heritage organization or other non-profit because the quality of the information will be much better -- though not necessarily the tour guide. | ||||||

| My mom was visiting from Colorado and she really wanted to do a food tour. When I looked on line, I thought the Broolyn food and cultural tour sounded like the most interesting one out there and we were thrilled to find out that was the case! The tour takes you from the LES into several diverse Brooklyn neghborhoods. Our favorite stops were the Hassidic Jewish deli and the Jaques Torres Chocolate shop. Our guide was knowledgable and very friendly. I think the only thing we didn't like that we tasted were the cuban pork sandwiches, but we both agreed that it was still a wonderful experience trying them and we wouldn't have changed a thing on the tour! | ||||||

| Our group included a teenage boy and adults ranging from late 20's up to nearly 80. The tour held everyone's interest; Sam was terrific, very knowlegable and extremely friendly. Most of us have spent quite a bit of time in NYC, yet we saw and learned things that were new. Sam, thanks for showing us the Irish Hunger Memorial - we had no idea and it was one of our favorite stops! I highly recommend NY Fun Tours and Zerve. I teach customer service skills, and I will use these companies as an example of how to do it right! | ||||||

| Definitely bring your appetite to this one. You'll sample some excellent food from different ethnic groups (in our case Polish, Jewish, Cuban, and some chocolate, too). This tour gives you the chance to see various neighborhoods of Brooklyn, including some stunning views of NYC that you might never have otherwise seen. Ditto with the food--it's stuff you might not otherwise try but will definitely not regret having. Delicious. Tour guide (Isaac) was very informative, fun, and knew all the good places and food to visit. I did this as a corporate outing/team building event and I found it to be a good venue for that. | ||||||

| I purchased this as part of a birthday present for my boyfriend, the only other group with us was another couple our age who had received this as a present from their parents. Isaac was a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, we drove around in his jeep which was perfect for the size and weather, ate so much until we were stuffed, and had an impromptu visit to a wine store for some kosher wine which was a pleasant bonus. All in all, a great way to see Brooklyn and sample unique foods. | ||||||

| Even if you live in New York -- recommend this tour. We are local and went on the tour with a friend in from New Zealand. This is a nice blend of different authentic, ethnic neighborhoods and progressive new Brooklyn (DUMBO) plus a good amount of authentic food from neighborhood establishments that have been around for ages and ages.... a slice of old New York seen through the eyes of the locals. Our tour guide, Isaac, was great -- he knew tons about the area's history, answered questions and gave us an educational tour that was, well, fun. Great views of Manhattan you can only see from vantage points across the river and the combo of Issac driving and a bit of walking made the tour perfect... Go. | ||||||

| Isaac picked us up and whisked us off in a living room on wheels, butta leather white seats in a red convertible that was a scene stealer. highly recommend nightime as you're picked up in daylight and the city twinkles around you as it gets darker. Saw parts of lower manhattan and brooklyn that as someone living in NYC for 25+ years I'd never seen. was with a friend and her 13 and 15 year old and a good time was had by all!!! HIGHLY recommend. | ||||||

| We had a great time with Isaac, he is enthusiastic and knowledgable and obviously loves New York. The food stops were great, I wish we'd had time to go to one more neighborhood, perhaps Greenpoint. Would have preferred a bus to a limo. | ||||||
