Wonderful evening!
Tue, Aug 21, 12   6:00 PM klminton Male 50-59 Local Group of Friends
The host, John, did a really nice job. Great explanations of the area, and history. The demonstration of making the salad was very nicely done at the Overlook Grill. Food was good at all the locations. Having the Managers, and Chef's speak about their restaurant, and menu was all done well. A very nice evening!

Not truly a diverse tour of Greenville cuisine.
Sat, Jul 28, 12   1:30 PM vballref Male 40-49 Local Family Without Children
All 5 of the restaurants on the tour are owned by the same ownership group; it appears the tour is more of a "please come visit our restaurants" tour rather than a tour of diverse Greenville cuisine. Although the price points and philosophies of the 5 restaurants may have been somewhat different, we heard so much about how different front-of-house and chef/back-of-house personnel had worked in multiple restaurants belonging to the group. Worse, Nose Dive served me raw sausage and when I discreetly pointed this out to the executive chef, all he said was, "Oh! That's bad," and ran out of the room. I expected him to talk to the chef and return with a cooked sample but instead he never returned. Nothing. No apology, no re-fired entree, nothing. Completely unacceptable. So as to Nose Dive itself, I would rate it as completely unacceptable.

The evening was just great! The various chefs and restaurant managers could not have been more inviting; the food was delicious; and we had a lot of fun. We've even talked about doing it again on the different night of the week! I highly recommend it.

A wonderful tour!

A wonderful experience! Our guide gave us a wonderful insight into each restaurants history complete with photos. He also included a history of downtown Greenville as we walked to each restaurant. The food and drinks were extraordinary! We met with chefs at each restaurant who answered every question we had! Our guide was also extremely helpful before the tour by helping me arrange to propose to my girlfriend at the end of the tour (she said yes!). We both highly recomend this experience and have already decided to do it again! If you are considering taking the tour... Go! You will love it!

I would highly recommend this tour! I signed my date and I up for this event and it surpassed all of our expectations. I wanted to leave a memorable impression, and with the aid of this tour I was able to accomplish that very ambition. I will continue to participate in additional tours as they become available.

Best Food Tour Yet!
Sat, Apr 7, 12   1:30 PM yelor103 Male 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
We have been on food tours before, but this one was the best ever! Plenty of food, great southern cooking with a twist, wonderful restaurants with friendly and professional staff, and the biggest plus, we were able to speak with some of the chef's in the restaurants. Mr. John Nolan, the tour guide also incorporated a bit of history of Greenville, SC throughout the tour which was very interesting. Would highly recommend the tour and yes you will eat a lot of great tasting food!

Fun Time and Great Food

Wonderful culinary tour with an interesting dash of history on the side. Unlike some other culinary tours, participants had extended opportunities to interact with the chefs at the five visited restaurants. John, our tour leader, was very knowledgeable both about food and the history of Greenville.

Had a great time on the tour. Food was wonderfull and the chefs seemed more than willing to talk about the dishes. I enjoyed listening to their stories and the looks on thier faces as we enjoyed the food they served. The guide knew the area well and history of Greenville which made the walk to each resturant that more enjoyable. Would do this tour again in a heartbeat!!!!

John was a fun guide with a fantastic knowledge of Greenville history during the walk between venues. The food and beverage was yummy, and a nice mix! The staff at each place were quite personable. We went back to a packed house at The Lazy Goat Saturday night and again met the manager and head chef. A culinary delight! Highly recommended. We would do this again!

My date and I really enjoyed this tour, especially the private cooking demonstration with wine tasting. Highly recommended if you are new to the area or want to get a behind the scenes look at some of Greenville's best restaurants.

Outstanding behind the scenes tour...Lots of fun!!

My wife and I took this tour as a 'date day' activity. I was thoroughly impressed with our tour guide, John, and all that we got to see and experience. The history of the city of Greenville was an outstanding portion of this event as well as the 'behind the scenes' look at the Table 301 properties/restaurants and staff. All the GM and Sous Chefs were very impressive. I would, and have, highly recommend this tour to anyone with a love for Greenville or a love for food, cooking, etc. It was a spectacular success for us! Thanks John!!!

The Table 301 business model and commitment to excellence is an interesting story in itself. The food selections and presentations were very good. It added a lot to hear from the chefs about themselves, their backgrounds and their personal commitments to customer satisfaction.
