Great! Informative and fun. Good value

Each restaurant on the tour highlighted a different cuisine and each Chef shared their passion for what they do! Hospitality was clearly a high priority and focus of Table 301. Our tour guide John was delightful, not too pushy but informative and relaxed. I have and will continue to recommend this to my friends.

Great activity and a great way to get to know more

A great job done by John. With two beef dishes, it was a little too much. Usually they do shrimp at one place and this should have been coordinated better between the restaurants. The last course should be a sweet rather than an appetizer. Great day.

This culinary tour was highly enjoyable because not only was it great getting to sample the dishes at the various Table 301 restaurants in Greenville, but it was also great getting to meet the chefs, managers, and bartenders for the restaurants. It was also interesting to learn about the history of Greenville and the restaurants we visited. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.

My wife gave me this tour as a birthday present. We really had a great time. We have always wanted to try the restaurants we visited but we didn't know anything about them. This tour gave us the opportunity to "try before you buy" so to speak. The only problem is that we have to go back to all of them now. Seriously, do not hesitate to take this tour, you will have a great time, guaranteed!!!

Nice evening of entertainment but not much food
Tue, Oct 23, 12   6:00 PM EdwardBinic Male 60-69 Local Group of Friends
Every aspect of this outing was entertaining and enjoyable except for the very small portions of food that were served. It was a lovely evening in downtown Greenville. Our tour guide was pleasant, personable, and knowledgable. Our walking tour to five downtown restaurants provided three hours of relaxing entertainment. The time we spent with the restaurant chef's and staff was informative. Most people in my group were expecting to be be served dinner comprised of five courses of food, one course served at each restaurant. This was, in fact, a culinary tour "At the Chef's Table" that was conducted at the normal dinner time between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm. All of the food that was served was very tasty but we were not served dinner sized portions of food. The meal began with a delicious salad that would fit on the palm of your hand. The entree, or meat portion of the meal that was served at our last stop, could have been served on a tablespoon---no kidding! The sum total of food that was offered to me was about equal to a good sized appetizer from an average menu. Everyone did receive a large, wrapped brownie to take home. That was nice touch and much appreciated. It was delicious. Those of us who had not had dinner prior to this event left hungry. But then why would we eat supper before going on a scheduled dinner time "culinary tour"? If it had not been so late we would have stopped for a fast food meal on the way home. I have since researched this tour with the Better Business Bureau and TripAdvisor. The BBB had no complaints listed and comments on TripAdvisor included descriptions such as "generous portions" and "don't go on this tour if you are on a diet". Some of the descriptions made it sound like I had been on a different tour. Maybe our experience was unique. My wife and I spent $96.68 and that included a ten dollar tip for the tour guide. What we got was an enjoyable and entertaining evening but we did not get the dinner that we had anticipated.

This tour was fun and relaxing and the food was very good. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to do something a little different downtown - it gives you a whole new appreciation for Greenville. Of course having the right group of people makes a big difference but even at that it's engaging enough to do with strangers.

We had a great time on the culinary tour. We had been to all the restaurants before and it was nice seeing them from a different perspective, we can't wait to go back and try them again. The history of the restaurants and the Greenville area was an added bonus. Hope he adds some new tours.

Great way to impress your friends & family visiting from other parts of the US. My friend from Chicago said it was the highlight of her trip. The Guide, and the Chefs were simply awesome in the way they spoke and displayed their "TALENT".

The host, John, did a really nice job. Great explanations of the area, and history. The demonstration of making the salad was very nicely done at the Overlook Grill. Food was good at all the locations. Having the Managers, and Chef's speak about their restaurant, and menu was all done well. A very nice evening!

Not truly a diverse tour of Greenville cuisine.
Sat, Jul 28, 12   1:30 PM vballref Male 40-49 Local Family Without Children
All 5 of the restaurants on the tour are owned by the same ownership group; it appears the tour is more of a "please come visit our restaurants" tour rather than a tour of diverse Greenville cuisine. Although the price points and philosophies of the 5 restaurants may have been somewhat different, we heard so much about how different front-of-house and chef/back-of-house personnel had worked in multiple restaurants belonging to the group. Worse, Nose Dive served me raw sausage and when I discreetly pointed this out to the executive chef, all he said was, "Oh! That's bad," and ran out of the room. I expected him to talk to the chef and return with a cooked sample but instead he never returned. Nothing. No apology, no re-fired entree, nothing. Completely unacceptable. So as to Nose Dive itself, I would rate it as completely unacceptable.
