Greenville History Tours

My husband and I recently moved to the Greenville area and we had a wonderful time on the tour. The historical information was very interesting and the food was awesome! We would definitely recommend this to all and look forward to taking the tour again.

Thiroughly enjoyable experience. Went to diverse group of restaurants and ate yummy food. Really learned a lot from chefs and ate things I never would order on my own. I would go back and do the tour again if I visit Greenville.

This was a great afternoon spent trying food at some of my favorite restaurants. Not only was the food great, but I really learned some interesting facts about the restaurants and about the city/architecture in downtown Greenville! We had a lot of fun, and we are already talking about taking some friends on the tour when they are in town. Definitely recommended.

This is a great tour!! The one-on-one time received from the chefs, and managers was exceptional. The food was out of this world! If you live in Greenville or are visiting, this is a must do activity!

Very informative on Greenville, SC history. Table 301 restaurants are spectacular, the food we tried at each one was delicious. John was a great tour guide and new a lot about greenville. I would very much recommend this tour for everyone especially for couples looking for something fun and different to do!!!

I chose to take my fiance on this culinary tour for his birthday/valentines day and as a preview to what it would be like to live in Greenville. I chose this tour because it was rated so high on TripAdvisor (ipod app) for the Greenville area and all the reviews were 5 stars. Obviously I was expecting a good time. Well, let me just tell you that my expectations (that were very high to begin with) were WELL exceeded. Every cent was worth it. We got to meet the chefs, ask questions, walk through kitchens, and taste items from five restaurants that were just amazing. From reading reviews, I thought we wouldn't be eating very much, but you pretty much get a mini-meal at each restaurant! I was so full and happy at the end! Through the course of the day we even got drinks that normally would cost a bunch! WOW, I knew I was excited about the food in Greenville, but now I just can't wait to move there and go to these Table 301 restaurants all the time! Enjoy yourself! I will DEFINITELY be going again and will probably get this as a gift for my family and frinds! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended!!!

My date and I really enjoyed this tour, especially the private cooking demonstration with wine tasting. Highly recommended if you are new to the area or want to get a behind the scenes look at some of Greenville's best restaurants.

My wife and I took this tour as a 'date day' activity. I was thoroughly impressed with our tour guide, John, and all that we got to see and experience. The history of the city of Greenville was an outstanding portion of this event as well as the 'behind the scenes' look at the Table 301 properties/restaurants and staff. All the GM and Sous Chefs were very impressive. I would, and have, highly recommend this tour to anyone with a love for Greenville or a love for food, cooking, etc. It was a spectacular success for us! Thanks John!!!

We had a wonderful afternoon and would highly recommend to all. No down side other than I had a difficult time hearing at the pub because of the background noise. Would recommend to our friends.

The Table 301 business model and commitment to excellence is an interesting story in itself. The food selections and presentations were very good. It added a lot to hear from the chefs about themselves, their backgrounds and their personal commitments to customer satisfaction.

The Chef's Tour was fantastic! The food and drinks were the best and worth the price of admission. John's historic information, included in the tour, was very interesting in understanding the area and it's humble beginnings. We plan to visit again in the spirng to take in the sites we missed and look forward to dining in some of the featured restaurants!

The historical culinary tour of Greenville was the perfect blend of historical information and culinary delights! We had so much fun we will definitely be back to visit the restaraunts again. My husband and I went on the Culinary Tour for my birthday. It was a present from my Mom. I love to cook and my husband doesn't but we both really enjoyed it. We learned about the history of Greenville. We ate some fabulous food. We met some great people. We will be going back to some of the restaurants for sure. I would highly recommend it!

My date and I enjoyed ourselfs, this was a great way to start a first date, the resturants that were choosen where tasteful and delicsious. Its a great downtown tour for those that haven't been to Greenville SC before. I recommended this and will differently do it again...
