Walking Ghost Tour of Historic Annapolis

It was a dark rainy night, lightning and thunder were crashing in the background - and spirits were waiting to appear. It actually was a dark rainy night. And, thunder and lightning was crashing in the background. A perfect backdrop. Our guide was a terrific storyteller and had many tales to tell. The tour is a fun way to spend an evening. You learn Annapolis history and get to walk the town.

This tour was very enjoyable. Not too scary for little ones, enough history and storys for bigger ones. Wish guides would be in costume though. Would add to the tour.

I have family with young children and teenagers who come to the DC area from the midwest - after a day or two the kids are usually tired of "looking at dead stuff". This was entertaining and educational - a rare combination. Tony was wonderful!

Enjoyed it. Our teens said they thought it would be more scary. We've probably done a dozen city walks around the world, and this would be at the bottom of the list for value. It was interesting, but not entertaining. The guide was good, but we've had many excellent guides to compare to; this tour lacked that eccentric quirkiness that brings it to life and makes you not care that you paid a fortune. Still we recommend it. We learned a few things and it was a pleasant walk.

It was a great tour with a lot of great information. Our guide was very enthusiastic and made it very interesting.

Overall, I found the tour enjoyable. If you love stories and history then this tour is for you. Just make sure you have good walking shoes on.

My daughter, her friend visiting from Australia, and I loved our walking ghost tour of Annapolis (May, 2013). Our guide, Toni, was wonderful. Toni is a great story-teller and knows loads of history about Annapolis, including all of the ghost stories. The tour was very entertaining and we enjoyed it immensely. I have done ghost tours in Williamsburg, VA and Charleston, SC and this was the best of the three. I highly recommend the ghost tour of Annapolis, it is great fun and Annapolis has plenty of good ghost stories. We took the walking tour of Annapolis earlier in the day and I enjoyed the ghost tour more : ) It has made a believer out of me!

Our guide Claire was so good and had so much detail that it really made our experience awesome!
