We left the tour and all most asked for our money back! Very boring tour guide, and the actual tour we could have accomplished without a guide. What a rip off!

Terrible Guide

Could have been good--we went on the 9 PM tour and it was a beautiful night, but our guide was terrible (Melissa P.). She spoke too fast, used vernicular, shouted (even when she didn't have to) and delivered her spiel by rote (yes, we know it's memorized, but these tours require some good presentation/acting ability to make them fun and good). She shared some interesting stories, but did it in such a poor fashion, we found ourselves no longer listening. Tour was supposed to last 1.5 - 2 hours; we were done in just over 1.25 hours and nobody tipped her....that's how bad it was. Save your money until they promise they've changed guides.

I had so much fun on the Walking Ghost Tour of Historic Annapolis. The tour guide walked us to different locations telling us the ghost history of each location. The stories were very interesting, and you definitley won't forget them. It was a nice walk around the town, and the area is beautiful. Our tour guide, Melissa, was fun, ernergetic, and very Nice. Melissa you did an AWESOME JOB!!!! If you are going to do a walking ghost tour, this is the tour to take. Just make sure you grab the iron bars when you head out of the cemetery.

The guide was very knowledgeable with interesting tidbits wherever we went. Perhaps it would have been nice to walk a little more if there are other places that might have stories. We certainly got our money's worth. It helped that it was a beautiful night. There were about 20 people and this is a good amount for the tour.

My ghost walk was with Clare. She was very good. Told great stories and was very informed on the history. Would have been nice to access to at least one site, but I can understand why not. My only complaint is that the tour started in one location (at the top on Main Street) and ended in another (near the bottom of Main Street.) I did not appreciate having to walk back up the street, alone, at 10:00 at night

The kids that were with us were 15-18 years old. A good time was had by all. It helps to go into the tour with a good attitude and want to "see" something. We had fun talking about what we "saw" for days afterwards. Annapolis is beautiful and the history of the places we toured was quite interesting. Would definitely go again.

Our guide was great! She knew a lot about the history of Annapolis and told us some very creepy stories. My husband and I had a wonderful time!

This was the worst tour I've ever taken

Our tour guide, Melissa P., spoke so fast she was practically hyper-ventilating. It was hard to understand her, as she would often slur words together. She never changed the tone of her speech, so when she was trying to say something funny or change to another topic, it was more confusing than fun or interesting. She did not say we could ask questions, or invite questions at any point, which really detracted from the tour. This is the first time I ever had a tour guide that did not let you ask questions. Also, she would walk pretty fast from one spot to the next, and there were a couple senior citizens that couldn't keep up.

Enjoyed the walking tour and learning about historical figures of Annapolis. My only complaint would be that I thought the tickets were a bit overpriced. For a family of three, it was $60.00. Other than that, it was a fun way to spend a Saturday evening.
